Writings on the wall for Lowry. He's a goner. The players want Gogi back clearly. Something tells me Gogi is easier to get along with than Kyle too.

Camby's been here 5 minutes and is dictating personnel decisions! He's probably right... As long as the price is right. Whether we keep Gogi or Kyle we can't lose IMO.

I am getting that impression as well, sad to say. Was Lowry less than a team player after returning from his bout with infection? If yes, coupled that with his somewhat defiance towards the head coach and we can easily see why some of these players are pushing for Dragic to be re-signed.

lol, give up? They'd trade Lowry as he is under contract, so they get someone equally good in return, understand that - trade?

Agree with your statement plus he still has upside to his game. Once he is given the starting PG position next season he will flourish some more.

    Correct. ;)

Hell, those players speaking out on Goran's behalf may not even be here next year.:p

I was hopeful that we could find some way to retain Dragic while keeping Lowry. I was hopeful that we could create a rotation senario where both played "starters' minutes". But i think it is clear now that Dragic will not resign with Houston unless he gets the starting PG spot. He wants to lead the team, and given his play this year, i can't say he doesn't deserve it. I love Lowry's toughness, and he's actually just as good of a PG as Dragic is, but i think Dragic has more upside and versitility, which makes him more valuable in my opinion. I also think that because Dragic is a free agent, and we can conceivably retain him without giving anything up, the smart move would be to convert Lowry into a player of equal caliber at another position. Lowry's contract makes him an excellent trade chip. I still don't see a team giving up a franchise player to get him, but we should be able to get a "near-allstar" for him at a position of need.

    Dragic + Kyle-swap > Kyle

    Llull, Llull, Lull!!!!!!!!!!

I just don't what he said about playing more minutes and becoming a starter.

you can play long minutes during practice to improve... health is also a factor to improve.. playing 48 minutes a game will not make you improve.

Clean house! Keep Goran and Marcus and Chandler. Rebuild around those key pieces.

The sig being, Mindset of a Clutchfan: Aaron Brooks is a top 5 PG! No wait Kyle Lowry is a top 5 PG trade Brooks! No wait Goran Dragic is a top 5 PG trade Lowry! No wait Sergio Llull is a top 5 PG trade Dragic.....

Thing is, Morey is all about maximizing assets. He even uses the word. See the thread on "Morey on SR610".

And if he's maximizing assets, Lowry is one gone-a$$ dude.
