Bouncer, small town sheriff's deputy, parole officer, social worker. Admin/desk duty in a law enforcement setting. Kind of want to see her crazy pics now, like doing moose ears at a funeral, crying at the zoo or biting a fully wrapped candy-bar at Gerland's.

Yeah no pics. Wouldn't do that to my friend (who again, is a member of this board, but pretty much a lurker).

I agree that pics are necessary. You never know, she's single now and there are lots of single guys here. We need to be warned!

it doesn't have to end in divorce...

a lot of women change after giving birth... that includes my wife. when I get mad at my wife, i just look back at the time when she was delivering my kids... she was in pain..

there are limits you might say.

i have a friend who had the same experience with your friend. i remember when i went to their house years before they got separated, his wife was suffering a bad migraine that she had to take a pills almost everyday. i saw the pills when i used their bathroom. was surprised to see that it looked like a pharmacy. after 3-4 years i heard the news that they were separating. my friend said, she was crazy. sadly i'm not surprised.

was my friend's wife crazy and harmful when they first met? four years before they got separated, she was a sweet person. and the worst part, my friend used to be a pastor.

Sorry. Yes, pick up went fine. No confrontation. The police were there just in case.

Until further noticed, only supervised visits for her. I told him to watch his back.

Can't imagine that desperation she must be feeling.

Damn, she must have been in pretty bad shape. Usually very difficult for the husband to get custody in Texas it seems.

It's quite amazing given the fact she has never been arrested, no criminal record, she doesn't drink, do drugs or ever go out. Apparently, the judge issued the ruling within seconds of closing arguments.

How messed up of a mother mentally do you have to be to lose your kids when you don't have any of those taboos?

Yeah, I do too. And beyond the experience they're having right now, their genetic material may be locked and loaded for some issues when they get older. :(

Glad this went well, codell, and I hope she can get some help.

This sounds similar to my brother's situation except he didn't get married, they only had one kid and the mother maybe isn't quite as crazy as the one here. They met at law school. The story is still unfolding as the woman finally got a job after several years, took the child to another city and is still working (after 2 months). I doubt her ability to hold a job and bet she will move back to the city where my brother lives to sponge off of him again. She nearly bankrupted him by sitting around, doing nothing and hiring babysitters while he had to pay for two residences.

If things completely broke down and custody of the child was awarded to my brother, I have no doubt whatsoever the fruitcake mother would kidnap the child and try to flee somewhere. That fear is why my brother won't go to court to get custody. This woman has the most explosive tantrums you've ever seen.

Guys, whenever you meet the family of a potential wife, please take time to read the signs. If she's never been in a legit relationship before and the parents give you weird (but happy) looks, run like the wind!

codell, both you and your friend realize this is far from over.

sounds like a sucky scenario. I just hope my wife's craziness just stays correlated the prescribed time of that month.

Sounds like to me the wife is sick and it also seems she has never seen a psychiatrist. If a person is that sick, it may be a result of a chemical imbalance or other things that are not under her control.

If a spouse has cancer or other diseases, you don't blame it on him/ her and try to get away from them as fast as you can. Mental sickness is also a disease. Someone should see that she gets some help.
