Here is my proposal to Rockets fans:

Instead of trying to move up in the draft: Trade Parsons and a first rounder for Jan Vesely.

This kid has madd hops, great length and ball handling ability and a dead eye. I am not sure how the Wizards view this kid, but I know that many people think Parson's is pretty great.

This is getting in on a ground floor opportunity for a guy that I think has the tools to be a star.

This would be a shrewd move, to say the least.

Parsons scores more, is the better passer, rebounds more, passes more, is the better 1 on 1 defender, has a high basketball IQ, and also has "madd hops"

I agree that the Rockets need to take some risks, but I don't really see Vesely being a good risk to take. So far, he's showed no real signs of being a star as far as I know.

Parson's good at what he does, which is why he'd need to be include in a deal. The tools that Vesley has however are rare. You could think of the deal as trading battier for Gay. Vesley is 6'11 and plays like a guard. This is unheard of. He hasn't done much so far, but he is a beast in waiting.

I like Jan Vesley but I'd say Parsons has as much star potential.

Do you see Vesely reaching Durant's level?

I see Vesely as a similar player to: Gay, Durant, danilo gallinari, paul george. 3's who present mismatch problems on offense.

There are very few guys who have that potential. While it would be a big stretch to put him in Durant's class or even gay's class. I think that if you are going to bet on one player in the nba to get there (who could be gotten) Vesely is that player.

It's a gamble, but one that I'd take. The way he plays d, his shot and his length, he has a lot of bigtime tools. Don't mean he's going to get there, but if he does, look out.

If you want sure things, this ain't your thread.

Possibly WOAT thread. Vesely is pure TRASH, I've seen him play in Europe (a lot), he has NO skill, not even fundamentals, well if you'd like to give away our starting SF and a first pick for a #11 offensive option and much worse defender than Parsons, okay, you're the next Isiah.

    Thats a good deal.

Parsons is good, but u didnt give up much to get him so giving him away for the chance at a 6-11 3 with "potential" is a good move.

You can have Vesely and Monte in the lineup together down the road at 3 and 4.

Parsons is good, so if he were to stay i aint mad, but Vesely has higher upside.
