    Miller has said he is retiring and focusing on his hunting show. Thats one player you dont have to worry about coming back to Houston in a trade. Unless they do a trade/buyout similar to the Fisher trade.

    Its a beat writer for Minny. Its anyones guess what kind of deal Min/Hou would have in place if any. Remember Martin isn't fully healthy right now, and this Minny beat writer is just assuming Martin's value is ultra low and the Rockets front office will dump him for a bag of Frito's. Obviously he doesn't know much about Morey and trades.

    but we are going to dump him regardless...I doubt anyone willing to give as much as adelman.

    Its not just the pick they can also offer cap space by eating his entire contract.

    It could also be apart of a 3 team deal...where we can add that 1st round pick to the trade.

    Martin for salary space

    Well I stated that because I don't think the Rockets want anything that the Wolves are willing to give. Everyone here is in agreement that Minnesota needs a SG who can fill it up. Pekovic and D.Williams are in their future plans and I doubt will trade for someone like Kevin Martin.

    Looks good on paper. We can use that salary space to get a star and/or use the Trade Exemption for a player getting similar money as Kevin Martin who would be more useful for our team.

    they might throw in a fringe player that would be useful to us...but I think all we get out of them this year is cap space and their first round pick this year...which could be really huge.

    Could let us trade for howard...resign our free agents and sign Dwill

    We could trade lowry 4 no 1s , scola, and whatever else they want for howard

    Then convince dwill to sign with us

    Dwill/Dragic
    Lee/Dragic/bud
    Parsons/Morris
    DMO/Patterson
    Howard and whoever we keep of camby and dally


    With that line up might be able to get garnett or allen cheap in FA

    Me too, I think he would make an excellent GM, because he understands chemistry and how certain people's games can compliment each other, or in some cases hinder them.

    Maybe he gets the job after Morey is canned.

    Howard/Williams Plan A

    The fridge player that I stated in my first post was Wayne Ellington. Could be our third string SG. Going after Howard and Deron will probably be plan A. We can trade for Howard with that great trade package you proposed and offer max money to Deron. It would be up to Deron to decide playing with Dirk in his hometown or Dwight near his hometown. And we keep Camby over Dalembert for sure. Camby will be cheaper, more consistent, and wants to retire here.

    Plan B...use some of those acquisitions to get a second tier guy(Granger, Iguodala, LMA) and draft a star(s)...hopefully and wait for 2013 free agency where Howard could be a free agency.
