Motiejunas signs two year deal in Poland

His quickness is his greatest physical tool besides being 7 foot. He's very agile. Think Pau Gasol in his prime

many of his shots clos to the basket are with his bad hand (right), that is a good sign.

 

Even though he's left handed he is just as good shooting with his right hand as with left hand. It's one of his skills.

 

The best thing is that Scola will be his mentor.

 

That's what they said about him in 2009. I think he will be the most talented and gifted player on the Rockets roster next season.

 

Really would like the chance to see dragic and montiejunas play together. Could be a potent combo.

 

Also it brings me hope to know that both Morey and Les have used Montiejunas as a silver lining heading into next season. They both make a point to bring him up in their recent interviews. It has to be a sign that they still think very highly of him. Possibly more highly than they did when they drafted him.

 

I think he might be the only untouchable player the rockets have. He seems to be the only one that has the skills and potential to be a star.

That is the only thing that I have seen about his game that I think will need a major change.

 

I just can't shake the feeling that he will not be a good defender. Idk.

 

Well lets not forget that we're taking about a 7'1 player here (measured 7'0 w/t out shoes).

If he can pin his man down in the paint by putting his body/forearm on him, kinda like Yao used too, he can get away with that baby hook.
