Would Barkley,Tmac, and Pippen come here for any other reason on their own? They wanted titles and we offered that to them. Right now unless we draft some foreign stud or build a contender withing 3-4 years of drafting a high lotto pick that guy is bolting for bigger markets bc the life is just better. The money will be similar from the NBA but off court endorsements, the nightlife, the women it's just better in all these place. why do stars go to big markets? bc life in cleveland is so much fun right? It's not jsut the clubs, its the lifestyle,the restaurants,the clubs everything it's just a blast. i spent 4 years in LA when I was in middle school and I remember my parents always taking me out on weekends and there was just so much to do it was incredible, now Im in houston and want to slit my wrists sometimes when I think of my options for fun

Look, I'm from Houston and I don't think it's the greatest city on the planet either, but Houston, the city, is not the reason why we haven't landed a top tier player. In fact, LOTS of NBA/Athletes live in Houston. the real estate and tax situation is so much better than other cities. Explain the Knicks pre Melo, that team sucked and it's the most well known city on the planet.
