On a proactive note, the Rockets organization is ultimately his baby (or famous work of art as he dubbed it). How can he make things better for fans?

I'll start by suggesting he offer free food at the last game to sooth the pain and reward loyal fans. This was done in New York one year and worked out well. In all, it's a good make up gift to fans for letting them down and makes for good PR. What else can he do to right the wrong that was this season for the fans?

lower ticket prices for great seats and make them available to everyone and not only his corporate buddies

$5 parking anywhere or included in ticket price...not sure what it is now, but I think I read it's a bit expensive

bring in a superstar or at least draft an up and coming star

set a limit of 180 pounds per male or 120 per female or can't get in..not srs

    1) Tank until we get an all-star.
    2) Keep the salary cap flexible so that when we do get one we have room to sign someone else in the off-season.
    3) Don't give out fat contracts to players like Scola who can't take over a game on offense (especially if they can't play defense).

Stats to avoid paying for: charges drawn (this is how Scola got paid), and fouls drawn on jump shots (this is why we brought Martin here).

Stats to pony up for: blocks, height, and offensive rebounds.

I'm willing to be the bobcats for a season with the knowledge that we will win the lottery and become a contender again

Seriously though, people's perception of aging players, not just stars, but players in general, has to change. Ever since Yao and tmac went down, the majority of rockets fans seem to associate 30 years of age with being over the hill and done. I want to "tank" now, but i'd be optimistic of pulling off trades to get "aging" players and stars. It can work, if done right. TD, manu, KG, and even Camby are showing there's still game after 30. Really good game.

I really hope we get out of the mode of saying "tank"

Tanking is a single-year move where a team shuts down their top guys with sham injuries and otherwise ties their own hands to chase a terrible record. On the BBS, everyone not in favor of staying the course has been lumped in with "tanking", which is not correct (for everyone)

I, like several others, want to see a tear down. Why keep Martin and Scola when they are sidekicks without a star? Why bring in a vet like Dalembert to push us over the top when we're not even halfway up the hill?

I wanted very badly to see a Dwight rental this year, and advocated that we "overpay" to make it happen...because landing a guy of that stature is priceless, and even if he did leave, it would be a clean break for rebuilding.

I'm still not against going all out (and I mean all out) after him. BUT, if it's clear that Orlando's not moving him, it's time to firesale the vets for draft picks. I think it was a mistake to not do so in February.

There should be only one goal right now - bring a (future) stud frontcourt guy to town. Nothing else matters. Nothing.

Trade the vets for future picks. This would allow us to develop our young players and more properly evaluate them (see Jeremy Lin). It would also ensure that we are a lottery team next season. Vets that can't be dealt should be bought out. Contract juggling should be devalued within the organization. I don't want to keep a vet just because they have a valuable contract, especially if it means cutting another player (see Jeremy Lin).

    And lastly, bring over D-Mo!
