"Mr. Thompson, when you killed your Ex wife. . "
"OBJECTION - Mr Thompson was exonerated and the court has ordered all information concerning it inadmissible"
"Withdrawn." Lawyer chuckle . . .heheheh now the jury is aware of it and it is on their minds even if it ain't true

Sorry, but 17 is an adult. And if he did do what he allegedly did to Zim, then he did deserve to have deadly force used on him to make him stop the assault if there was one.

    Something no one has mentioned.

Just think for a moment; What if Martin was looking for something to steal? Or what if he was looking for someone to rob? What if you had found out he was just coming home from committing some crime? Thugs and criminals use the same sidewalk Martin had been walking on. What if Martin was going to try to knock Zim unconscious and reach down and steal his wallet?

    Mind = Blown

    Well, let's see...

    - 78 yr. old man beaten by six thugs yelling "Trayvon".

    - Good Samaritan attacked by crowd, yelling "Trayvon", after catching and pinning-down a black robber.

    - 27 yr. old attacked by 8 thugs yelling "Trayvon".

I'm sure there's more that have been reported, and LOTS more that have not. But I'd think this is getting close to the race war.

If he is found not guilty, there will probably be riots that will make the Rodney King riots looks like a Sunday stroll.

I hope I'm wrong. But I have no faith in some people.

A 17 year old is thought to have full blown criminal culpability. A 17 year old adult knows when something should be or should not be illegal, i.e. selling weed, stealing stuff, punching bus drivers, attacking a guy following you in the dark, etc.

Most 14 year old know the difference between right and wrong. But the legislature has decided to make it 17 before you're able to fall under adult punishment.

Even if Martin attacked Zimmerman first, can't a strong case can be made that Martin acted in self-defense?

Put yourself in Martin's shoes. You're in an unfamiliar neighborhood and you see a stocky man in his car staring at you while talking on the phone. You turn around and walk away, but a few minutes later, you encounter that same man.

Wouldn't you be freaked out? You've done nothing wrong, and as far as you know, this stocky guy has been following you. Wouldn't you try to protect yourself?

On the first part, we obviously disagree.

BTW, bigtexxx has mentioned the same crap. Because criminals walk on the sidewalk, treat everyone on a sidewalk as a criminal or do they have to be black?

No I'm not questioning your assumptions of a possible race war., But to accuse the president of manipulating the situation for personal gain is just flat out crazy.

    please, carry on

A 17 year old is also more likely to act irrationally. None of that stuff deserves death, and at this point none of those things are facts.

I will not fault him for attacking someone that is following him in the dark. That is self defense.

Let's be clear -- Obama, Michelle and team have a very clear agenda here. They are shamelessly stoking the flames (oh so discretely...) in order to fire up a key part of their base (blacks) in a very key swing state -- Florida. They NEED blacks to come out and vote in November -- what will hurt them badly is if there is voter apathy from that group. There is no denying what Obama is doing here. And it's pathetic, especially for somebody who was supposed to be celebrated as our first (half) black president.

    Hahahahahaha!

I'm sorry that due process is considered sissified to you. It's even more amusing that due process is what you say is wrong with the country.

You're entitled to your opinion, and what value you set upon a human life. I hold human life more dear than that. You don't. You obviously value your possessions or other people's possessions more than I do.

You may find Somalia a place more suited to your ideas of justice than the United States. Since the U.S. was founded rule of law has been one of the principles we've held on to. The shoot first mentality is the way things work in Somalia. You might like it more there.

Obama had Zimmerman kill Martin so he could win Florida?

You have lost your mind with hate.

    Hahaha...

This is falling into place nicely for Obama. I can't wait to see what else he comes up with just before the election. You're being extremely naive to not believe it.

Martin was never found guilty of any of that. Martin has no criminal record of any of that. Not one single thing you mentioned.

Of course not. He's stoking the flames of this episode for political gain, however.
