If we're not going to at least make the playoffs, then why in the hell wouldn't we want to tank and have the best draft pick possible? I think I'll quit bothering to try to explain this to you. You seem kind of slow.
Yeah Minnesota would have been wise to trade away their pieces and start over this year, they had no chance to make it. Why waste a whole season like they did? They need you as their GM.
Did you miss the 7 years of when the wolves clearly sucked to get the pieces they have today? Love, Rubio, Williams, Johnson (bust).
Or the fact that NONE of our young players even have real All-Star potential, much less super star potential.
They didnt tank. Why would they for the 14th or 15th pick? Thats r****ded. The team just didnt play hard enough. I'm pretty sure they didnt decide to be in the playoff hunt then lose on purpose to make it seem like they wanted to be in the playoffs but only wanted to be in the lottery. Morris would have been playing. Thabeet wouldnt have been traded if we would have tanked this year. Stop with the crying. They didnt tank.
we do have one of the youngest teams. we also play some of the oldest players. so in essence, we are a 2 games over .500 team with little development of our young players in a short season with a loaded draft but camby, scola, and d-bert sure looked great. i do like players on our team, but something has got to change and i can always like new players. I think a lot of people would be excited with a high pick in the draft with the new york and possibly the dallas pick. Instead we are looking to trade them to move up. we wouldnt have to do that if we tanked/strategically maneuvered draft position for quality talent. Lmao.
