Low calorie alcoholic drink recipes

    I've put on about 30 over the 2 years. I can attribute the bulk of it to beer. What do you guys/gals drink when you are watching the scale.

    Lately I've been doing Vodka with Lemon Lime and soda water.

    What are some other good ones ya'll recommend.

    Scotch rocks or Vodka soda.
    The scotch isn't a great alternative but you'll enjoy it more, you won't be pounding back tasteless mixed drinks and you'll probably consume less.

    The alcohol makes your body cling to the fat due to dehydration. Then again, if you're a big drinker, then quitting will make you eat a lot.

    Drink straight up. Single malt Scotch and vodka work for me.

    My only exception is a margarita. The standard requires 7 shots of tequilla, 4 shots of Cointreau (orange liqueur), and 3 hots of lime juice, which is about 3/4 alcohol and thus damn near straight up.

    My drink of choice...with lots of lime...If I had to drink beer, its 55 select with lots of lime...

    Skinny Margarita taste like ass as does the low skinny mojito..

    Agreed, vodka or flavored vodka with diet soda or various Splenda-sweetened drink mixes. Glad not to be in the category of people who are pressured to drink everything straight up. :)
