What's hilarious is, watching the replay over and over again, Harden is actually back pedaling away from Artest right before the elbow. Harden was obviously there first and put his arms up because Artest, in his frenzy, wasn't watching where he was going and Harden was bracing himself for a collision.

That was a viscous elbow with the intention to hurt someone. If it had caught Harden's face head on, we might have been looking at another Kermit Washington/Rudy T incident.

Absolutely warrants a suspension for the rest of the season including the playoffs.

And I say this as a fan of Ron Artest.

If Artest plays another game this season, I'll be disappointed. That was a boneheaded move.

I love fans that have nothing to lose saying this.

If you were his actual teammate you probably would have reacted just like they did.

Ron Ron is crazy, but this was also just bad luck. He lost his head for a second and this happened.

Well this maybe the last of Ron Artest in the NBA. Goodbye Ron. You've had a good career.

This probably won't even be the last of Ron Artest for the season.

Huh. I've never actually gone there. RealGM is pretty pissed at Artest.

But I don't think he deserves a lifetime ban or anything like that. Probably just 20 flat straight game.

Extended video of the incident. No way in hell that was an accident. That elbow thumping celebration was too high as if he was aiming for a knock out. He knew the consequence of his action that's why he was in a fighting stance during the altercation with ibaka.

Something about the lakers always playing dirty as if someone is telling them too.

Kobe shooting three with flying arms to clear the defender, derek fisher with the shoulder ram to scola, bynum with his antics and now metta world at war. Next thing you know pau gasol will shout out from the bench, "Get him in a body bag world peace". Even the lakers ignorant fans was cheering for ron artest jobe well done as he exit....WTH!!!

If you think Ron Artest was single-handily responsible for that incident than you're either bias or didn't watch the entire incident.

Guys who should also take blame for that incident.

1.Ben Wallace - Who made the situation worse because he kept charging Artest in the first place when Artest was trying to avoid him.

Yeah I never actually go to RealGM either. OS is a sports gaming site (which is pretty influential since the devs post there and gather feedback from there) but they have forums on the actual sports.

It'll be interesting to see what he gets. If he didn't get a lifetime ban for going into the stands and attacking fans then it's hard to see this getting that.

Ron Ron won't get a lifetime ban but his track record will be an issue here. He, rightfully, has had a huge target on his back since Detroit. My guess is 5-10 games.

My guess is we won't see him again until next season.

James Harden deserved that!!! Artest just trying to celebrate why is Harden kept walking up and trying to push him. Harden was asking for it. It should only be a technical 1. SO GOOD JOBBBB ARTEST!!!!
