Meyers Leonard is SOFT for a guy his size and would end up being just another goofy looking white guy trying to play Center in the NBA. He's no Vlade Divac or Arvydas Sabonis.

At least Henson has the ball skills and slashing ability to make an impact.

(by the way, I'm white...just so you all know I'm not being an A Hole towards white players)

And CarlHerrera....Scott Machado WILL be a talented, All-Star PG 5 years from now. It's just how I feel. There's no rhyme or reason, just love the way he plays.

We get Dallas's pick if it's 21-30. Top 20 Protected. Right?

Yep. Top-20 protected every year until 2018, when it becomes UNPROTECTED.

This. There's no need to get yet another POWER FORWARD, we have Scola, Patterson and DMO coming into the lineup next year. Where the hell would this Henson guy get the minutes to develop?

Also why make a thread solely about your predictions? I thought this was a magazine artile at first.

except Duncan was a much better scorer, passer rebounder and defender in college, stayed 4 years and polished his post up skills (of which Meyers appears to have very little, imo).

I know college stats don't translate to the NBA on a 1:1 basis, but I'm sorry, if your 7'1, playing 30+ mpg in a solid basketball conference and are being compared to Tim Duncan of all people, you should be pulling down more than 8 boards a game. Of the bigs primed to potentially go in the lottery, he's had the worst rebounding year except for Drummond, who has the potential but I'd argue is a risky pick himself.

Meyers would be best served, imo, returning to college.

I made the unfortunate decision of attending Duke's grad school rather than UT's, but because of that I've watched way too much ACC basketball. Which brings me to Mike Scott (from UVA). What do y'all think of him as a potential 2nd rounder? I know we don't currently have a pick, but would it be worthwhile to purchase a pick for him? Or do you think it would be wasted money on a position the Rockets are already rich in?

I know he'd probably be better served staying another year in college but he's coming out and this team needs a guy with size at the C position. Henson is a PF at the next level and is 210lbs. To me he's like Jordan Hill coming into the league. Plus this team doesn't need another PF with Scola, Patterson, and Motiejunas coming over. Unless then amnesty Scola or trade Patterson in the offseason!

With McHale he loves size and does wonders with big men and they'll both learn a lot from him in a full off-season of training camp! I'm sure he'd love to have a combo of 7 footers with Motiejunas and Leonard!!

Cody Zeller's #1 on my wishlist, though he may return to Indiana. At only 19, he's still developing physically, but his blue-collar mentality, sky-high hoops IQ, and mobility make him a perfect fit in Houston. Though he doesn't have an offensive game to match his older brother's just yet, he's an absolute savage on the boards and runs the floor like a small forward.

I'd package Kevin Martin and picks to jump into position to land him. If he stays in school, he'll land in the top-3 of next summer's Draft.

I like the two seniors from vandy. Jeff taylor and Ezeli. They'll be better than Henson.

LOL. Are you yelling at me? AND telling me how and what to talk about on top of it??

It's a draft thread, you need to chillax.

    Rox 1st Round picks:

    F John Henson 6'10 220 - freaky long defensive specialist w/upside

F Royce White 6'8 260 - amazing ball handling, vision and physicality

If Morey/Les buy a 2nd: take an offensive minded wing like Will Barton (6'6 175) who is also an excellent rebounder

I don't mind C Meyers Leonard, but Henson and White could be special. If not for the off court stuff (White) and weight (Henson), they would be drafted much higher. And even with his phobia, age & past indiscretions,
White would be a top 10 pick if he was inch or two taller.

People that say no to Wroten here obviously don't know **** about him or his potential. People on ClutchFans say "terrible, no all-star caliber" when they don't know a player or when he wasn't advertized enough by other members. Don't talk about a player when you don't know anything about him.

His jumpshot is worse, but his playmaking and ball-iq are through the roof for a two, he's a bit like Tyreke Evans in his style.

People here only promote the players they read about on ESPN or see in the top 15, it's a shame.

So you judge guys by their last game and not by potential?
