The worst part about it is this team has more veterans than the Jazz. Could have something to do with one team actually using their bigs and one team refusing to use them.
the player that makes this team a legitimate contender isnt on the market, if we already had a superstar/allstar wing or point you could make the argument that we would be a dominant post player away, but we have nothing. clear cap for the next wave of top market FAs, and try to land high draft picks in the process.. its a 4-5 year process.. conitiously ended up at the back end of th elottery isnt improving this team, theyre just running in place..
Dont worry our players have this thing figured out, our athletes are smarter than those other 8.. oops i mean 9 teams ahead of us. We will outsmart those other teams in the final couple of games, and will get in and upset the Spurs in the 1st round. Im sure of it
If it comes down to blazers having to beat jazz for us to get in there couldn't be a worse team ...only hope is blazers come out for revenge from last weeks whoppin and jazz choke ....seems tough
it won't happen, jazz will whoop the blazers. I kind of wish we'd lose against Miami so I can stop thinking about this.
I think while we finally got a win last night, our fate was sealed when Orlando was unable to hold on to a 12 point lead late in the third. I think the Suns will beat the Jazz but lose to Spurs(#1 seed hasn't been decided) but its VERY unlikely that even though we might win tomorrow, that Portland will even be up to play against the Jazz. They probably will hit the showers after midway through the third. It looks like we will be eliminated on the last day of the regular season. How fitting but if we won even 2 games out of the previous six we'd be in good shape. Changes are definitely ahead of the team in the off season but we should certainly keep Camby. The guy is pure heart and hussle like in his Massachuttes days.
lol damn..this is so sad. Utah is still a thorn in Houston's side--even post D-Will and Boozer. time to hit the booze, Rockets fans. i am interested in what's going to happen with Goran Dragic, though
we still have a great chance of making the playoffs. all of 1.3 percent. i dont think there is a team in history of the nba to have a 1.3 percent of making the playoffs :/
So only way we make playoff is We win 2 against Miami and NO Phx Beat Jazz lose to Spurs Jazz Lose to both Phx and Blazers That will never happen lol, **** life, we are going to miss playoffs by like a game
thanks to 6 straight loss. What was Rockets players thinking after 4 streaks on the road? Thought they got the playoffs. LOL
the worst thing about all of this melodrama is how its the 3rd year in a row. 3rd freakin' year in a row.
So. We need The Jazz to lose tonight and their last game. The Suns to lose their last game. And we win both our last games, and we're in?
Every single thing.that could have went wrong this week for Houston did. every shot went in for jazz. Yesterday Orlando chokes. last week Dallas gives away.game in.3 ot to Utah. Then Courtney Lee can't make 1 ft to win the NO hornets game. everything went against us. seems like a curse. but hey we still have a chance!!
So what cursed the Houston Rockets? Barkley? Pippen? The guy who didn't get a beer at the game? JVG? Adelman? Other teams with curses have stories and names behind the curse. What is the source of ours?
