It would suck if we miss the playoffs by a half game and all we would have needed was to win one of these past 6 games... I'd honestly probably cry.
not gonna happen..We donot deserve to be in the playoffs..We choked big time when it mattered..I mean, 6 in a row,,how on earth...!!
I wouldn't, if you can't beat the hornets when your season is on the line who can you really blame? They don't deserve to make the Playoffs and deservedly would miss it.
Ok, we basically need a better record than the Suns and Jazz, right now we are 33-31, Phoenix is also 33-31, Utah is 33-30. So if they lose, we are in a three way tie but it doesn't matter since we don't have the tie breaker. Because of the Suns-Jazz game, we have to pray that whichever team wins that matchup MUST lose their next game (so both Suns and Jazz go 1-1, and we go 2-0). We have to pray to all the basketball gods for that. Suns v Spurs Jazz v Blazers Honestly neither looks like a good matchup for us, Popovich will rest his starters and Blazers are in pretty bad shape, plus we have the Miami game. God I hope we make the playoffs, it's been such a long time...
Man, as much as I want to believe, I just don't see Utah losing to the Suns and Trailblazers at home. Especially when they have two days rest in between games. But if we somehow make the playoffs, it'll be because the Jazz lose tonight to the Magic and then to the Suns on Tuesday. That would leave it up to the Spurs/Suns game, which I could see possibly the Spurs winning due to wanting to win homecourt and the Suns will be too tired (back-to-back).
I can't believe we even stuggled to beat the Warriors, but a win is a win and its probably like a breath of fresh air to the team. If Orlando wins tonight, and we beat Miami (possible if Wade is out, Lebron etc.) We would have the inside track on the eighth seed. We'd have to beat the team we should've beat on TGIF.
First of all let us assume the Rockets beat Miami tomorrow and the Hornets on the 26th. Then, the game to watch is Orlando vs Utah. IF Orlando beats them tonight - WE HAVE A VERY GOOD CHANCE of still making the playoffs. All we need then is a Pheonix win over Utah, a San Antonio win over Phoenix and we are in the playoffs...
Never underestimate the heart of a champion! We will beat Miami and New Orleans this time. Let's just worry about the suns/jazz losing.
