I don't want DH on the team. I'd rather continue with what we have then go for a rental, esp. one that just had back surgery.

he's not a free agent, so yes, we have a realistic shot of signing him.

What we have is a roster that netted us the 14th pick for the 3rd year in a row. This season was a waste. We didn't get anything done. We didn't move forward as a basketball team.

To turn down Dwight Howard and rather have Scola and Patterson close out games on our front court is silly.

there is a precedent for the rockets signing superstars from orlando who quit on their team, has back problems, and demand a trade to a winning team. I guess it could happen. Worst case scenario we pick up a couple mid first round draft picks

Get Dream to call Dwight. If he still wants those lessons to continue, sign with Rox. Case done. :p

Do not want D.Howard even if he is 100% healthy

Pekovic is the better player, and has a higher upside

Yes, especially if we get Stan Van Gundy as head coach.

    Dwight is the next Yao

Dwight is the next Yao. His body is ready to break into pieces. I expect his next injury will cost him the whole 2013 season, then after 3 months come-back show, another major injury will cost him most of the 2014 season. After 2014 season, the guy will announce retirement. So why the fuvvvvk we take a shot to sign him???

i think howard is an easy get. the heat will drop him and we have a clear window to get a solid 4. he may still have a home here. Mark this post. Juwan Howard is priority number one.
