Probably one of the most disappointing, when you look at it before this losing streak started the rockets were 32-25. With a very high chance of making the playoffs. Dallas has locked in a playoff spot with 35wins. Which means The Rockets only had to win 4 of their last 9 games to make the playoffs guaranteed. Most of these 9 games have been against opponents fighting with us for those last spots, but we choked.

So to be in a prime playoff position and choke it away has been very disappointing in my eyes.

Was a legitimate superstar and gave this city hope.

This choke job is seriously almost as bad as losing the first two games at home vs. Suns in 1994.

We would have lost in the first round anyways. But very disappointing indeed.

Pretty typical Houston sports team. Choke when it matters most. No surprise here just more of the same. Get used to it if you are a relatively new Houston sports fan. Its what makes the true Houston sports fan so great if you ask me. We stick with our teams through the most terrible disappointments. The Texans shocked the city this year by winning a playoff game. That was all the sports gods had in store for us this year. They are frugal.

The last few seasons all he gave was angina. 22 seconds of useless dribbling. Most painful Rockets regular season memories for me. Just absolute crap to watch.

    Nothing went our way.

    • Wasted our lottery pick (Morris).
    • Lost Hayes.
    • Gave away Lin.
    • Knicks will make the playoffs.
    • Got screwed by Stern trying to trade.
    • No youngster but Parsons has shown promise.
    • Everyone else except Dragic regressed as the season went on dragging their trade value downhill along with them.
    • We are going to lose Dragic.

    Did I miss anything?

    That's bull!

[*]Wasted our lottery pick (Morris) - Morris is yet to be determined though he's not strong enough for the PF and not versatile enough for a SF but who knows. Maybe if we don't keep Budinger he can become #1 SF off the bench for Parsons.

[*]Lost Hayes. - He was going to be overpaid, got injured and is not looking the same in Sacramento. This is actually in hindsight not a bad thing.

[*]Gave away Lin. - Was not going to develop here

[*]Knicks will make the playoffs. - We knew this, just that the Knicks gave us a little bit of hope.

[*]Got screwed by Stern trying to trade. - He actually saved us

[*]No youngster but Parsons has shown promise. - What's wrong with that and isn't he a youngster? Also Greg Smith shows some promise.

[*]Everyone else except Dragic regressed as the season went on dragging their trade value downhill along with them. - Agreed.

[*]We are going to lose Dragic. - Yet to be determined

Really? He was 'only' an allstar three times into his career.

Not the worst, but the team Morey assembled is a very boring team to watch imo. I know they have heart and whatever, but lets be honest - The Rockets are a very boring team.

It's just been ridiculously illustrative of the big picture problems with this organization....in that way I'd say yes, it has. It's not that I'm disappointed, because I didn't have an expectation they were going anywhere....it's just the worst of this series of treadmill seasons we've been dealing with.

Pretty darn disappointing. I was looking forward to at least being in the playoffs and seeing if they could continue to play above themselves, not expecting a run, but hoping for a respectable performance, something to build on.

This end of season choke was really distasteful.

With the season on the line they just lost to the Hornets. I think that says it all really.

Yes. Not only were we teased with the playoffs, but the Rockets are not moving forward. I doubt any free agents want to stay in Houston after this season. They don't want to play for a team that doesn't get any calls. The players aren't blind.

The Rockets screwed up big time by not tanking this season. Not only do they lose their free agents, but they miss out on a draft that is stacked with 4-6 players with all-star potential.
