    For my birthday (which is the 28th) my parents bought me tickets to the last game of the season against the Hornets.

    Can't wait to see how empty the seats are then.

    That's kind of lame. So he only takes blame for this game and isn't accountable for any other losses? He hasn't contributed to any other losses this season? It just sounds self centered.

    It will interesting to see the TC come Saturday and for team of the decade game against the Hornets. I hope the fans stay classy for the final game. As for the Warriors game if they lose that one I can already hear the boo birds at the TC:(

    Are you kidding me? I thought it was a class act. The guy missed a big ft and realizes if he had made it they would've won. I don't see it self centered at all.

    Some people will never be happy. If mchale said that he screwed up the rotations, people would complain that he didn't admit this sooner. :eek:

    Why would he take blame for the whole season? Him making that statement doesn't mean he doesn't take some blame for how the season has went.

    What a dumb reason to criticize someone for.

    Wow, just a 8 man rotation on a back-to-back with Lowry missing everything and having Boykins on the bench? Why not use Martin? I find this highly suspicious and we seriously have tried to tank these last few games or McHale is that dumb.

    So the thought of tanking just entered McHale's head? No, he is not that dumb.

    Maybe Rockets are just not that good. It's even more frustrating to have nothing to look forward to next year. No big FA. No lottery pick. :mad:

    Bad getting worse. It sucks cause we had a pretty good especially with Martin, Lowry out. I just can't belive this is happening, 6 in a row.

    seems like no playoffs. still keeping my fingers crossed but damn

    For those who are relatively new Houston Sports fan, seasons ending like this are very typical get used it.

    Pretty much a sumup of this season's failures:
    - The coach and team unable to cope with other teams adjusting. I guess earlier in the season we just made the outside shots and were lucky.
    - Defense breaking down when offense not going well which was also a problem under Adelman. In general defense not as tight as other good teams.
    - Not playing with enough intensity each and every game, was also a problem under Adelman.
    - Not being able to handle the pressure late in the season which is probably what we would've looked like had we made the playoffs.

    The last point is the most dissapointing and most shocking since this whole season we've been able to handle pressure, win some tight games against good teams, hit some clutch shots unlike years prior.
