Mr. Les Alexander, PLEASE, Let our General Manager do his job and stop retooling our mediocre roster just to sell tickets. If we cannot trade or sign a star, then rebuild our team through the draft. We have suffered long enough! Betteryet, just sell the team to someone who's passionate about the game and the team and who doesn't really put ticket sales/revenues as a top priority. Sincerely yours, Rocket fans (who have suffered for 15 years)

Rocket fans are just too damn nice. If you shout your lungs during a home game, they'll look at you as if you were in some library. Post something that says riot, and they want the Feds to get you. LOL Such passionate fans!
This was the ideal season to begin the rebuilding process. New coach, very short season and one of the deepest drafts in recent times are just some of the reasons.
you don't think he wants to wins? he gets a boner for stars as much as anyone on this board. he takes things too personal sometimes, like adelman but he is a great owner. may 2009 that was the month our hopes and dreams came crashing down. Like bill said, this will be the most important off season. I'm with letting scola and martin going to contenders for trade exceptions or whatever.
The last time Houston had a riot was almost 100 years ago. I can see it now, the Houston Rocket Riots. "A dozen negroes still at large-- and 3 white guys... and 1 latino... with floppy hair."
The only way to make Les understand is to have attendance and viewership fall off considerably. As long as you go put your ass in the seat at UnAmericanMotorsCenter or turn on your TV .... you are helping fill his pockets with $$.
Wow that wa sad news indeed. Digging through century old archives, wow. Anyway, the point here was not to actually start a riot(duh) but a mere request from Mr. Alexander to start making changes and listen to us for a change.
We already have one of the worst home attendance in the league. And after this heart breaking end to the season, should be more than enough of a statement to finally make some significant changes to the franchise and stop putting lipstick on a pig.
If Les is still the owner next year, Ted Nugent will either be dead or in jail.* * metaphorically speaking.
