Agreed, so let him (or Dalembert) cover Ayon instead of letting him have a big 4th Q. I think Camby was out of gas, or his back was hurting, in the 2nd half. We were MINUS 17 in rebounds. Scola/PPAT doesn't really work on either end of floor. Neither Camby or Dalembert are inside scoring threats, but at least they can protect the rim at the other end, and grab some boards. This team has no inside presence on offense if Scola can't get off...and he's not athletic enough to do much against double-teams or a strong one-one defender. You know your inside game truly sucks you can't even score inside against a team who's dominant inside players are Gustavo Ayon, Jason Smith and Carl (undersized PF) Landry.

The problem is, Scola didn't even try to score in the post. Every time he touched the ball down there, it was an automatic pass out, even when there was no double team. Scola wanted no part of the ball tonight.

I honestly didnt mind the McHale hire that much last Summer because I like the surrounding cast of assistant coaches, and I figured he was either going to sink or swim. If he sank, the Rockets would have sucked, and rebuilt the only way possible. If he excelled then great. Playoffs and develop young players right? WRONG. Little did I know the story would have this miserably written of an ending. -I think he's still going to get another training camp and start of the season next year , but theres no doubt in my mind that Les isn't going ape Sh$& right now wanting to send McHale back to NBAtv. Id like to see what they can do over the Summer working with guys they didnt get a chance to last year. However, something has to happen to show the fans that this is not acceptable.
