now six wins in a row, 5th best record in the league (ahead of the Lakers), 13-5 vs. the Western Conference, 4th in the league in road wins... I hope I don't jinx them!
Pacers's ceiling is advancing to the 2nd round. They need Paul George to take that next step, which he really hasn't. Let's see how George develops next year.
Pacers are right there with Miami and Chicago with the way they've been playing lately. They can beat Chicago in a 7 game series IMO, and Miami as well if the Heat doesn't start to play better soon.
I've said it before but for a team with no real superstar they get the refs respect alot, getting to the line frequently.
I don't give them much hope against the Heat in the 2nd round but would love to be wrong. It's great the Pacers are good again.
They would have a GREAT chance at beating the Bulls this season, way more depth in Barbosa, George Hill, and David West. Heat is a much tougher opponent for them.
I don't think they could beat Chicago or Miami, so their ceiling for me is pushing one of them to 7 in the second round.
