Why do people act like Morey didn't make a major trade last preseason?

    Because it didn't happen.
Because it would have been awful.
Because his alleged free agent target was punted after bring replaced by a rookie, and spending what part of the season he wasn't injured sucking.

Chuck Hayes had a triple double. Remember?

You mean when he was in Memphis?

I don't mind getting Pau if we already had a franchise player. I just don't think getting him meet the "get a superstar" goal. He is at the back end of his prime, and he is a second banana type player.

I wasn't very excited when I heard of the Gasol trade. And the worst thing about that trade was giving the Lakers Chris Paul. Stern screwed us not so much in blowing the deal as holding us up for precious days when our hands were tied from pursuing FAs.

Nene has been balling since he got to the Wizards.

What is with people on this board not understand how hard it is to come back after injury in a shortened, more compact season?

How can you build a great roster with gasol making 19m and nene making 15 and both are 2nd tier and nene is just solid? They should've dumped scola to the pacers b4 they signed west. They should've dumped martin b4 he got hurt and his vagina was bruised.

It is clear Nene was out of position in Denver to begin with. He has been the most efficient 5 in the league in past seasons.

Those who say landing Pau wasn't worth the money also claim that "moneyball" will never work. It is fairly apparent they don't understand Pau's value, let alone the actual concept of moneyball.

I'm so glad I've started to post less and less. Saves me a lot of stress. The idiocy here is astounding. Quite frankly, Clutchfans has become a huge turn off.

To say we would be worse with Nene and Gasol instead of Dalembert and Scola is completely ridiculous. Gasol is an all-star and Nene is one of the most efficient big men in the league. For those who say Gasol is on his way down, well so is Scola. Kevin Martin? He's been up and down all season.

    Nene
    Gasol
    Parsons
    Lee
    Lowry

That's a playoff team for sure

But not a championship team. I could care less about the playoffs. I would rather the Rockets miss the playoffs for the next nine years and win a Championship in the tenth than to spend the next decade getting bounced in the first or second round.
