Question is, what is he worth around the league. My guess is with the 13th pick you could get the 10 or 9th pick.
You sure could. It'd be quite an awful deal though. Lowry for Favors? Yeah, I'd be good with that. For Kanter, no.
I like Norris Cole, but Miami is a good (right now) PG from being heads and shoulders against the rest of the NBA. The Heat are going to have to go through Rose (maybe) and Wesbrook to win the title. Not saying they aren't but if no then PG play will more than likely be the reason. But hey, if Miami is in the business of paying that much money to a timid 3rd option type player, then more power to them. I think Bosh is moved if they don't win this year.
Nah, same b****y troll we all know and love...hopefully the reverse curse of DD kicks in soon. MOAR PLZ
as of today we have the #13 pick and the #17 pick(NY).. Dallas sits at #19 so i doubt we get that pick this year unless they win out.. anyways, let's look at real possibilities with trades… Lowry to orlando isn't real.. they alreay have a PG so why take another one on.. For the Rockets to improve we have 3 main pieces with cred in the league Lowry, Scola and KMart.. we can Package Lowry and Kmart for a Shooting Guard and package Scola, Ppat and #17 for a starting PF… then resign Goran, resign Lee, bring over D-mo, bring over Lull to backup Goran and draft someone decent at #13.. question to you guys is this. Who could we Realistically get at SG and PF for what i proposed.. i think we could net what we need to get over the hump.. we would still have Dally and Camby at Center, Lee as our backup SG, Parsons, buddinger and Morris at SF, D-Mo as backup PF, and Lull… that would be better than what we have right now depending on what we could get at SG and PF..
so if we want to trade lowry who would we want (i know you guys are gonna say howard) but besides him who do you think we should get if traded
Lowry is the most over-rated player here. I have seen some ridiculous trades regarding KLow. For instance, j*zz would be stupid to do Lowry for Favors
Me too. I'd put everything on the table for that but I think Sac might be wise now that Westphal is gone.
No kidding, bunch of folks can't look at him and his flaws. Look up how Sessions is performing as a starter these days.... better than Lowry. There is nothing wrong with Lowry, he is a good PG, he is just not a great one....and he is very replaceable. Dragic is better, keep him and trade Kyle and his valuable contract. DD
I don't care who we get. Just get us a playmaker, baller, all-in-one....whatever. Heck give us one of those And 1 street ballers, at least they can entertain.
Nice - Keep building up curse-of-DD karma. If I were Ramon Sessions I wouldn't walk under any pianos this week.
Maybe so, but there are only so many targets out there. It's clear that what the Rockets need most is a star. Need number two is a young big that you might be able to build around. Favors is a somebody who may fit that bill. Whether or not the Jazz will open to trading him (for Lowry) is another question. The OP asked what we/the Rockets want for Lowry. The answer is a high draft pick or a young big like Favors. You may have to add additional pieces, but that shouldn't be a problem with the depth/assets we have.
For SG, I think Rudy Gay is a possible one, assume he can play 2 and 3, and Lee can start over Parsons. I mean Memphis has 3 maximum contracts in Gasol, Gay, and Randolph, and Conley is 9 million per I believe, there is no way the FO of that team go forward with that salary allocation. For PF I would look at Utah the most, obviously if either Kanter or Favors Pans out, they will trade either Millsap or Big AL, I like Al better than Millsap. At the same time, Dem Cousins will be awesome but I doubt Sac is looking to trade him and he has been huge for them this year. I agree with you that, Goran should be our future PG, and trade Lowry, Martin and Scola this offseason is the way for our team to go forward.
