Why would your simple opinion (just as my comment was a simple opinion) annoy me? Rather, it was the smack of indignant condescension that your post is slathered in that annoys me. Couple that with not only your, but a couple of other posters', unwillingness to take my harmless opinion as being exactly what it is--a harmless opinion--that has effectively bothered me. I can't help but wonder if anyone has ever heard the expression "nothing is more adjective than this specific action". Some linguists would characterize that sentence formula as a classic expression of humor and irony, and in some cases even humorous irony. Obviously there are things in this world that are more annoying than stoners that overrate their own abilities while high. Rapists, human rights violations, poverty, and hunger are but a few examples. Please, though, everyone keep piling it on.

Maybe not before the game, but definitely after. And maybe not pot, but certainly a lot of other stuff. I think the '70s and '80s NFL players might have drank heavily and used more painkillers than baseball and basketball combined.
Because the HOF is riddled with guys that did hard drugs like coke before games. Seriously, pre-90s drug use was way more rampant than it is now. They actually have random drug testing these days.
