Is there a reason why you don't believe it's Les' fault? Adelman, Morey, and even JVG have pretty much confirmed it's his doing/decision. At the very least, Les is agreeing with the moves, or lack thereof. I dont' believe Les says one thing and Morey just ignores him. Who does that to their boss? It starts at the top.
Only 10 teams have made it to the finals in the last 12 years. Three of which being the cavs, pistons, and nets which we are better than. That leaves 20 owners who should all sell their teams... We can't make it to the finals every year man.
I don't think Les should sell. I believe he is on to something here. It is just taking longer than usual because of the hunt for a free agent superstar.
He is nearly 70, he is probably going to die before the team gets there rebuilding like they are now...hell many of us in our 40s might as well. DD
I wouldn't necessarily say that they did anything wrong. I would just say that they always wait a season too late to do something. They should have traded Scola last offseason for a pick this season. They will probably end up doing it anyway this time around. They should have known( like everyone here ) that Dragic was better than he was given the chance to show. He should have been extended when the opportunity came. Seriously, most of us here were upset about that. The FO is just too slow on many of the big decisions that present themselves during certain points of the season.
They are still pretty much in the same position as they have been in the past what...5 seasons? Still needing younger size in the paint. Camby is the only true center on the team. With D-Mo coming next season, we need a good defensive 7 foot center to put next to him. Then you grab a hot shooting SG to go with them. Try like heck to get a 2nd rounder or two.
Its never been les m.o. Its an easy excuse for people. If morey as a newbie can convince les to trade the 8th pick for a role player, why can't he tell les they need to get rid of marginal talent? If u get a chance, watch The Association with the nuggetts and tell me who had a harder sell job, morey or nuggs gm.That guy traded anthony and billups 1 yr and nene this for mcgee. Why couldn't morey sell les on young upside vs older vets. I will be waiting for excuses.
