Yeah who knows. And I dont think Miami is impossible, Lebron played limited minutes, Dwayne didnt play, Bosh didn't play. Man I really want in the playoffs
not suprised hornets and warrior are scrub teams who dont care anymore and miami will probably rest some starters at least 2 so its not hopeless
Then don't.... I don't know what else to tell you. I saw some intensity tonight vs the mavs. It's not Scola's fault that he was playing his heart out and Mcfail kept him out until the hole was too big. It's not the team's fault that the refs called a foul when we breathed on any of their players. It's not the rockets fault that they were on the wrong side of almost every call late in tonight's game. Stern would look bad if the mavs missed the playoffs and he made sure they won't. They showed heart. If they can make the playoffs, anything can happen.
I'd rather see us win... I don't care how or why. I don't care if they bring up their d league to play us. I just want a win. Actually, I want 4 wins.
The only way Miami rests its Starters if they lose to the bulls tomorrow!! Other than That then it will be a tough game for rockets to win.
Why can't they catch Chicago? They play them next and if they win they are only a game behind them. Them resting Bosh/Wade at home against an awful Raptors team doesn't mean much. They probably won't have their players sit out the last three games of the season.
We are tied with 8th seed phoenix. Believe me, I understand that losing 5 games in a row is tough, but I think saying we are out for sure overreacting just a little. Let's get over this loss and re evaluate after we've cooled down. We still have a good chance of getting in. And no, it isn't a good idea to play rookies and D leaguers for 4 games. Especially when the playoff race is this close. I mean really?
I see what mchale and crew did. They left 4 games (the amount necessary to win a playoff series). If we win 4 games by the end of the season, we are in. If we don't, we fall short of the # wins required for a series win. Motivation.
Suns lose tonight against OKC and I believe they will lose tomorrow against the Clippers. Keep Hope Alive!!
So you are telling me we lost 5 in a row with 2 or 3 games at home..... without a good reason? Well I couldn't be that optimistic......
Jazz will beat Orlando and Portland, Phoenix has to beat the Jazz. Utah will almost certainly have at least 2 wins out of the last 3. If they go 2-1 then we need to finish 4-0 to make the playoffs. Phoenix has to lose to the Clips and Denver.
Based on what? Tonight? We are of the few who have won at any of OKC, San Antonio, LA, Chicago. Should have won in overtime against clippers. Either way, there was sefinately intensity. What other contending teams are you talking about?
We lost 3 of those because of poor effort, I agree. The last 2 games we hustled and played with effort only to get screwed by mchale and the refs. Either way, I am hopeful and I will remain optimistic until the end. We don't have to agree
Even if the Rockets make the playoffs, with our current performance they're gonna get swept by whoever. Yay!
