I'm not sure whether I just care too much about this team or what, but this last week or so has been so painful to watch. I'm not really sure where to start.

Ok, so Mchale has had some questionable rotations as of late, but he's been dealing with some injuries so I won't dig in too deep to worn-out "Scola and Pat shouldn't play together"(it's true and all, but it'd be repetitive to keep going over it)

How about plays? I haven't seen any dynamite play that we can go to when we need a bucket, Scola's post up only works to a certain extent. And to close games he's going to be matched up against a C who'll(most likely) be long enough to not need to get off his feet. Most times when Scola can't get the defender to bite, his scoop is rendered ineffective.

I saw a couple of times Dragic run through the post keeping his dribble alive but not knowing where to go with the ball. He's good at tight-roping the baseline, but Mchale needs to find a way to utilize other shooters with off-ball screens so Dragic can find someone open outside and not end up running in circles aimlessly.

So the Rockets are planted outside the playoffs right now, I heard Bill say something like "The Rockets can still be a factor if they win out." But, damn man, if they had kept their sh** together they could be fighting for the 6th seed not just hoping to be a factor.

I'm not sure how the Rox will finish out the year, and I still have hope for the playoffs. There's also the possibility that the Rox win the next 4 and still miss the playoffs, and they try to sell us next year on how they finished strong.

It's just tough watching a team with no direction, I mean, is this really productive for an organization? Gasping for air down the stretch trying to latch onto the last playoff spot?

    Anyways, /rant, thanks for reading.

Even though the Rockets probably won't make the playoffs, I got what I wanted out of the season. I wanted a series sweep of Portland. I live in the Portland area and these two-faced Blazer fans are annoying!

Not sure, but "finishing strong" by closing out the last 4 games might just make this feel worse. The 5 game streak will come back and haunt the entire offseason if we just barely miss out on the playoffs.

Lowering ur expectations a bit might soften the blows a bit.
Or, you can try Xanax. it's the perfect, low calorie diet for die hard Rockets fans

i've tried ot be patient with this whole rebuilding while not sucking experiment, but i'm getting tired of it and so are many others....Les has to make a change. Not sure if that means necessarily firing Morey, but that may happen. Depends on how far Les has his hand up Morey's a$$...i just hope les doesn't fire Morey, if Les is the real problem. It wouldn't solve a thing.

Yeah, Morey has proven he's a solid GM, and capable of finding diamonds in the rough via trade or draft. And if Les allows him to tank and he gets to stockpile draft-picks and trade away a lot of pieces I'd like to think he could work some magic.
