Born in 95 so I guess I have been a fan for life because I was born when the rox won their title? I really do not know why/how I can continue supporting this team. I still believe that we can make the playoffs. I guess it is just the hope that one day we will finally succeed. Just the desire for some houston rocket success is probably why I am in the minority of people who still want the rox to win out and make it.

 

DD all over the forums now after only being around a small amount during "the good times."

 

I lol'd. I was pretty mad after the mavs game but that was supposed to be our loss anyways. If we win out (miami will be the toughest game) we will probably make it. I really think orlando will beat utah. Pheonix might also

 

Has there been a more epic fail in recent years than this. We can go on a 9 game losing streak to end the season and miss the playoffs which is worse than Adelman's last 2 years trying to get in.

 

Agreed, basically every possession where Terry scored he blew past a guy much bigger than him caused by the PnR and honestly Patterson didn't play the pick much better

Now that you brought this up, I started thinking about it. I really don't know the answer. Anyone have any theories? False hope that keeps us fans?

 

I am still trying to remember the good times....15 years, one playoff series victory.

I was born in 95, but I have been watching since I was a kid. I didn't really care about winning back then, because I just enjoyed watching. I will always be a fan, but these last five games have made me cringe.

 

True, I remember the good times under Moses Malone, I remember drafting Ralph and Dream and all those good times in the 90s....

It is staggering to realize the lack of playoff success.....even under JVG he had home court every single series at some point and we even blew those dang it.

I'm just saying during our *sniff* tremendous 4 game road trip, you weren't posting as much. 1 post here, a post there; hardly knew you were there. Now that The Rockets have descended into the *sob* catacombs of failure, there has been a noticeable uptick in your postings is all; you're everywhere.

 

I like the end of that rockets video. IT"S FOR ALL THE NONBELIEVERS. Get ready for takeoff rocket fans. Orlando is no pushover and phx will blow the jazz out once they are out of contention because nash is a nice guy and he will want to go out as a hero from phx.

 

All I have to remember is the Francis led Rockets against the Lakers in that embarrassing 1st round. The disappointments against the Jazz. The 40 ****ing point Game 7 loss to the Mavs. At least I have that 2nd round series against the Lakers. So much heart on that team.

Games like tonight makes it depressing to be a Rockets fan.
