    I'm sure most are done with the rockets but what are our chances after this game?

    Suns to (hopefully) lose and utah to win.

    We will be half a game behind 8th right? And with a win vs noh and a phx loss against the clips tomorrow, we would be tied with utah but they would have the tie break. So it would be us vs. The jazz... there is still marginal hope, right?

    Wait a second: When McHale was hired all I heard around here was that his knowing the X's & O's wasn't important because his ASSISTANT coaches could handle all that. All he needed to do was provide leadership and motivation for Morey's collection of assets. Riiiight.

    Rockets O' Rockets. Why O' Why!!!! At least the Astros know how to bottom out and rebuild, much more enjoyable to watch than a .500 team three years in a row.

    But on the bright side, I have my Texans to look forward to later on this year.

    No, Rockets are doomed to mediocrity for another decade probably. Not bad enough to tank, nor good enough to succeed.

    If Phoenix loses and Utah wins, our only hope is basically for the Rockets to win out and Utah to hopefully lose to either Orlando (on the 21st) or Phoenix (on the 24th).

    my synopsis> lots of really good players all on the wrong team . split em up and another team will scoop them up ... rockets seem to be a NBA D league for real NBA teams

    Interesting but this means that for the Rockets to win out they will have to beat Miami. Good luck with that...

    Were 1/2 game back right now but it is looking like the suns are going to lose tonight. Utah is going to win and take a 1/2 game lead over us. The have Orlando, Phenix, and Portland. The suns have LA Clippers, Denver, Utah and San Antonio. We have NOLA twice, Golden State, and Miami. Based on the schedules I'd say the Suns are out. It is between us and Utah for that last spot.

    Best possible outcome, would have been a meaningless win. It's LIMBO time, how low can we go?!!!!!! We must lose them all and sink as far as we can. We need to get our focus on the lotto, only way out of this mess. As long as we had a chance I was for going all out, but that time is over. Let's get refocused.

    Technically, they don't have to win out if Utah loses to both Orlando and Phoenix... but that's asking a lot as well.

    Wasn't Adelman the one who didn't take timely Time Outs and didn't make the right adjustments? Sticking to his offensive weapons most of time?
