I understand that there are folks who don't like McHale. They may have not wanted a coaching change, or he was a Celtic, or just like to rag on the coach when things are going bad.

Seems like a few folks are trying to make the argument, McHale is dumb, Lowry is smart, so we should tolerate any behavior from a player. Should we sit McHale and make Lowry player/coach? Has he reached Bill Russel status?

Or is it that McHale is just so dumb that anybody could do the job better? It seems like their are folks out there who just don't want to take the pay cut to assume McHale's position or they would show us all how the job should be done.

Personally my basketball knowledge is limited, somewhere well below that of McHale and his assistants, but anarchy on the court has not proven to be a winning formula, at least to the best of my knowledge.

I'm not that big of a McHale fan myself. I especially don' like the way he talks. It's like another language. He speaks "run-on sentish".

bottom line this team is better with kyle and k mart in the linup as starters. the record reflects it. Too many on this forum fall in love with roll players.

hmm. When Dragic was a starter with Boykins as the back up the rockets winning percentage was greater than before when Lowry was the Starter. But when Lowry became the back up they loose 4 in a row. Does that mean Boykins is the better back up pg than Lowry?

Besides I don't see how you see Lowry as more of a non role player than Dragic. Sure Lowry is more vocal but that is about it.

Lowry definitely has a surly and anti-authoritarian attitude that he displays from time to time. He's disrupted the teams chemistry since returning

Just went back to 3:55 in the second quarter. (Thank you AstroRocket for the link, glad you are feeling better). Nuggets just tied the game.

Prior to that Lowry missed a shot, then on the defensive end just stood there and watched his man hit an uncontested three causing Worrel to say, "I don't know what Lowry was doing". It was so obvious, even I didn't need it pointed out. Lowry takes an quick three, misses, causing Worrel to say, "Playing right into Denver's hands". Lowry runs out at a potential three, man runs past him for a layup. TIMEOUT!. Can't really blame that one on Lowry.

Too much information perhaps, but someone was due a chewing out for that obvious quit on defense. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the huddle?

I have seen this kind of let up by Lowry before. Nobody's perfect, but screw up and then have a temper tantrum?

If this were just a game buried somewhere in the season, there would be time to deal with it. This was Lowry's fourth game back, four losses in a row, and the one that may have put the nail in the coffin for our season. Not professional and not smart.

What happens when you don't play the guy that was the best player on the team, until 1 month ago...

Not sure Lowry hates McHale or anyone else. Lowry is just kind of a hot head. This kind of stuff happens with him from time to time.

We were not better with Dragic and Boykins if anything we were worse. I'm pretty sure that Lowery will be staying and not traded. He is already signed to a big deal. Dragic is just playing more right now because he has the hotter hand. It will be hard to keep Lee and Goran.

If it is about Lowry vs McHale, really its an unfortunate distraction.

Because in watching the games, the way to be more effective is put the ball in their BEST player's hands, Goran Dragic.

And let HIM do all the playmaking IN SPITE of McHale's non-coaching and Lowry's ego.

Dragic? Hmmm... Leader of our 6 game losing streak, in the most critical stretch of the season?

I dare say a healthy Lowry starting would have given us 2-3 wins...

LOL, yes trade Lowry and give 10 million per year to 4-12-in-must-win-game Goran Dragic.

    Difficult decision.......just made easy.

Borrowing the line from Mr Pringles, should have been riding Goransanity "like Secretariat".

Though gimpy players Dalembert, Martin & Camby have disrupted momentum as well.
