I can't tell if that is truly a question or is it a statement? If it's a statement, what do you base it on? I haven't seen or heard anything to indicate that.
Im pretty sure he's questioning it as if its a real possibility. Andray Blatche is a lockeroom cancer. Lowry & Martin both work hard and want to win. There is a big difference there. They might bicker and fight with the coach a bit behind closed doors, but you know what... that happens on every single basketball team in the world. Basketball is an emotional sport, and communication with coaching and your peers is vital to success. The thing that separates Lowry & Martin from a knucklehead like Andray Blatche is that they care about winning ultimately, allow themselves to be coached, and work their butts off. Anyone who doesn't think Martin works hard doesn't know much about Martin. The only issue I see is trusting in the coaches gameplan, which Lowry and McHale probably need to work on getting better at. However, thats nothing new in the game of basketball. As long as Martin & Lowry want to win, and work their tails off I dont care if they get emotional about not being able to help their team win on the bench. Its only understandeable. I would be the exact same way.
TRG's stupidity is on another level. There's a frayed wire somewhere in that thing he calls a brain. Why would Martin be in the team's long-term plans anyway? He'll only decline from here on. McHale was okay with trading him before. I just don't see Martin having a future here. But I admire he wants to give it a try, although I think he can only hurt the team if he isn't near 100%.
I agree with that statement. If the Rockets were "holding him back" its because he isn't 100% healed and could hurt the team On The Court. Something Martin obviously knows from his confirmation in the interview yesterday.
This is what brings me back to clutchfans everyday. Unintentional comedy is off the charts on this board.
I believe the second unit with Lowry at PG needs to be pushing the tempo like crazy. No more dribbling the ball up the court. Look at what Denver's second unit was able to do to Houston the past two games. Think about Dallas' old legs. If Lowry can get Martin, Bud, & Co. off the bench to run the floor, they might be able to explode the offensive production off the bench tonight against Dallas.
He is letting the organization know that he is done with their charade, and that they will need to play him or he is going to out them for the entire fake shoulder injury deal. DD
He may not be the right fit on the team now that Adelman is gone, but he is far from a cancer. I think people here underestimate KMart's intelligence and work ethic. Many don't seem to realize, this wasn't just a sore or tender shoulder. It was a muscle tear. In his shooting arm. Which he played through for a month until he re-aggravated in running through a screen and it was found in an MRI.
BTW we could always play the lookalike Diamon Simpson.... a birdie told me he is the better rebounder
