On to the next game? On to the next win? He didn't say "on to the next round".

The ref was a complete joke.

I was cussing Mario out the whole game (I even screamed "F***ing MOVE, Mario" loud enough for him to hear me (he knows me) and people around me were looking at me like I was crazy), and then in the 89th minute, he happens to be there...

    Ribery was fantastic for Bayern.

    Ronaldo was disappointing.

Ozil should have been left on the pitch instead of bringing in Marcelo, who was a useless jerk.

Marcelo should have gotten a red card for that foul against Müller...

Nice game. Have not seen Bayern play too much, but is this Gomez a poacher-type of forward? I mean, not much skill, but right place at the right time guy?

And Madrid, as expected, behave like a bunch of idiots when things dont go their way. sad sad attitude to say the least.

And I think this game illustrated the difference between Messi and Ronaldo clearly. Ronaldo, in some games, completely disappears. Messi, on the other hand, is always involved and always doing something.

Yes, absolutely. He drives me nuts. I still think Bayern should get a center forward who can play with the other guys. It just stalls their game too much to have someone in there who cannot stop the ball, dribble, or distribute the ball from that position, no matter how many goals he scores in the end.

How about Robin van Persie? (or in a couple of years Luke de Jong of Twente).

Congrats SJC and other Bayern fans. I hope they will advance to the next round.

So it's time to start knocking out the last of the EPL today.

I'm going to ignore the comparisons between Messi and Ronaldo because I think that debate is tired. In the case of this game, once Real had the draw, they were content to try to maintain possession. While this tactic ultimately put them in a must-win scenario for the return leg, it was hardly a case of Ronaldo disappearing.

One other note, Coentrao is looking really bad. Call him toast because he keeps getting burnt. I keep thinking that this summer in that horribly tough group he is exposed for Portugal.

Didn't watch the game but saw the goal highlights.

Nice win by Bayern.. Good luck to them in the Final. I gotta say though that goal by Real was beautiful.

They still have an away game against Real before they can make it to the finals.

not to mention that goal by Real wasn't even beautiful...it was a tap in.

Not sure he watched the right highlights.

I'd put $100 on Bayern not scoring a single goal.

Yeah I found it odd that some media were bashing Mourinho for Real's performance. They lost 2-1 AWAY and scored an away goal!!!
They'll be in the drivers seat in the Bernabeu.

(Hopefully Bayern can still win though)

I really like Chelsea in this 1st leg vs Barca. I think they can get it done similarly to Bayern yesterday and Milan vs Barca at the San Siro.

Before they head back to Barcelona and lose to Barca in similar fashion as Milan did.
