All joking aside, my Grandfather used this to completely quit smoking in 7 days. When he felt the urge to smoke, he jumped into a cold shower.
I've been taking cold showers for years.. dunno how much it does to my well being, but I do always feel better after a cold shower
If you take a cold shower and immediately watch the last 40sec you will start to feel warm as hell, parts of your body will get insanely hot.
Tried this just now - couldn't get myself into the shower. I just knew it would be too uncomfortable. I hate that cold shock feeling and losing breath because of it.
I just tried it as well. The toughest part was actually getting into the water. That cold shock feeling was rough, but once I got past that part, it was great. Once I got out of the shower, I had a completely different feeling than I do when I take a warm shower. Can't really say if it was a better or worse feeling... just different.

When I was a kid and went to El Salvador for vacation in the early 90's I had no choice but to take cold showers in an outhouse using rain water. Thought it sucked then and still do now. What I do is shower with warm water to soap up and then full blast with cold water to rinse off.
i usually take a cold shower towards the end of my shower to avoid sweating when i get out of shower, especially durring the summertime
