**** on the coaches, not the players, nor team. if it makes you guys feel any worse, t-will is actually playing solid in sacramento. mchale's rotations are just ass. and the players they decide to keep and let go are even worse.
Hah, at least I show up to most games and root. Some of you guys must be robots. How the hell can you not get frustrated and discouraged? We have choked the most important games of the season and yet you are okay with that? I sure as hell am not, especially when I spend my hard earned money buying season tickets. Fair weathered my ass.
im not okay with the rockets choking, but just last week everybody was praising mchale because we were winning. i just feel that it sucks that people are quick to tuern on you when you lose. i am pissed that mchale keeps playing pat pat, and to be honest with you, i personally think mchale is showing too much favoritism towards certain players in the rotation. to be honest both t-will and marcus morris should have been given playing time in certain sitautions.
So are the fans, they are tired of seeing a crappy product. They are voting with their lack of spending.... Deal with it. DD
at least you know what you're gonna get with the bobcats. not have a little hope then get it crushed at the end of the year. and the tickets are cheap.
This isn't a 4 game losing streak knee jerk reaction thread. This is a 3 straight years of NBA purgatory thread. This is a 15 years with 1 playoff series victory thread. This is a no end in sight thread. This is a FRUSTRATION thread. Some folks handle losing better than others. I prefer the ones who get pissed off enough to want to DO something about it.
Bobcats: clear-cut plan to rebuild, likely drafting a franchise player in Anthony Davis. Rockets: no clear-cut plan, drowning in mediocrity with rotting "assets." The Bobcats are following the Seattle/OKC blueprint. Rebuild through the Draft. Suffering in order to become great.
That is what fans are doing by staying away from the Toy box, or watching all the empty seats. At some point, you have to hit them in the pocket book so they actually give a crap. DD
DD, don't they still get paid if we show up or not??...So if I'm them , I wouldnt give a flying ****...lol.... I think you're speaking toward Les Alexander right?
LOL Marcus Morris and TWill would've saved this season, I have seen it all. **** everything, I'm so sad/pissed/confused
I don't know what they are gonna do, but they have to do something about this. As a fan, I can deal with losing, but as long as we are losing and striving to make our players better and attempt to get some superstar talent here. I'll admit, I been one of the biggest Morey supporters, but even I have my limits. I always love these small trades he pulls out of his ass, those are always great, but there comes a point where you have to decide, what will I do with all this talent. Has he tried, yeah, he has tried. Unfortunately, he keeps coming up short. I think at some point he is going to have to take a risk, a real risk. It's always nice to feel like you won something, but what good has that gotten us so far. A few moral victories, a few "well we are doing well without a superstar, that's really good" and who can forget, "he got something out of nothing." All this is well and dandy, but he keeps coming up short. Like I said, it isn't for lack of trying, however, he does overvalue his players a whole lot. He overvalues them so much that the time comes when it was too late to trade for them. Has he been willing to take risks? Yeah of course he has. You always read that the Rockets are willing to rent any player, however, I look back and we had a chance at Stoudamire (sp?) but apparently the Rockets hesitated because they didn't want to trade him without a physical (was this actually true, I forgot). Stoudamire, he might not be the best defender, the best rebounder, etc but he would have brought a lot of excitement and given us a real offensive threat. Morey nor the Rockets are not willing to tank. I'm no fan of tanking myself. But at some point, fans such as myself, as well as the Rockets front office have to realize the reality that we will not get a superstar player doing things the way we have been doing them. The Celtics motto worked because they had a high draft pick and they also had a young big in Jefferson with a lot of potential. We have neither. Donatas seems to be our only hope and I'm not even optimistic he will work out (definitely a wild card). Overall organization has given us a crap product for years. They have been scared out of their asses to take risks. They were not willing to trade Yao Ming and that bit us in the ass. They were not willing to trade Tracy when he still had a lot of value because they were hoping he would come back to his superstar self. Based on rumors and articles over the years, it seems that we have not been willing to take a risk. It's not entirely the Rockets FO for having fragile players, they did try, but they were unwilling to trade them when it was time. Sadly, I wouldn't have traded them myself, but that's why I am not a paid employee for the Rockets. Battier trade, I supported, but sadly it burned as well. Seems like we will keep being a not quite so good team yet not so bad and quite frankly that's depressing. It's depressing that I have friends that are fans of organizations like the Mavs and Spurs and I can't talk mess to them because their organizations have been trying hard for the past 10+ years. It's sad. I hate being the guy that can't talk much mess.
I feel empty inside. While I never expected us to win a playoff series, it crushes me to not even make it. I just think of having to wait ANOTHER year to see us having a chance at the playoffs and it makes me sick. Hate this part of the year and it's the THIRD season in a row I've had to experience it...
***** you Rockets ***** you Rockets. Seriously. That's just how I feel. ***** you rockets. ***** you.
