It's like saying a doctor should botch up a dozen surgeries before he gets his license revoked.

At least he exceeded expectations..... Before the season I would have guessed 10th spot for the Rockets...
It is harder because we are in the middle of a playoff run, but I think overall he did ok.... B- for me.

You keep Adelman and this team is in the 5th spot at least.

PPat throwing an airball on that jumpshot was just embarassing. I do not know why we aren't finishing games with a true center, not hybrid centers. This loss is whoever decided PPat finish games over Camby, or Dalembert. We should traded PPat instead of J.Hill.

I'd rather they give me Pekovic and Love instead of Adelman.
    Talent before coach..... easily.

PATTERSON needs to say: "coach i think Dalembert would be more effective right now. he's having a good game."

You all knew damn well it was going to be Scola/Patterson to close out the game. Its been that way the whole season. No reason why it wouldnt happen again tonight.

Do I think McHale is a good coach??... No.

Do I think the Rockets have a good coaching staff??... Absolutely.

Sampson, Bickerstaff, and Finch are three very good coaches. If all four of them agree on Patterson/Scola to finish out games there must be a reason. That being said, its frustrating to watch the biggest dissapointment of the season that is Patrick Patterson.

Even though its frustrating Heres the real basketball reason whether you agree with it or not-

*The reason they use him late in games is to try and create spacing for Scola to work inside, and help defense on the perimeter. Thats the reason. They know late in the ballgames its going to be Dalembert getting unguarded on the perimeter. Thats it. Like it or not, this team lives and dies on how well Scola and Patterson can defend the paint late in games. That is a gamble the Houston coaches take night in a night out, and its going to cost them the playoffs.

lolwut we had Adelman the past two seasons, 14th pick brah. ;)

On a serious note get rid of patterson, I don't want to see him on the floor ever again for the Rockets.

His lineups have been terrible most of the year.

The funny thing is like Adelman he was a better coach when his options were limited and he had to play others because of injury.

Remember when PPat partied the night before a game, out of town when Kentucky was in the Final Four a few weeks ago? And then had a ****ty game and looked disinterested?

This guys attitude is just the worse.

Adelman never had two shot blocking defensive centers at his disposal. As good as Hayes was, Camby and Dally are a huge upgrade.

Yeah, I can't defend McHale on this one.

I mean I understand that Dalembert can be downright TERRIBLE on offense when put in a position to score, but he was more than making up for it tonight in every other way.

    Inexcusable.

    *sigh*

Patterson and Morris are on the hot seat IMO... but I guess the coaching staff will continue to trust them... You usually do with young players
I hope Donatas can adjust to this league....
