I'm not at all against streaming things for free, but the $15 it costs a month for HBO is well worth it for this show alone. And on top of that you're getting all the other great shows plus access to their entire catalogue of original series from start to finish. Plus this show really deserves to be watched in high definition.
I got rid of my TV about 2 years ago. If HBO offered a way to just get HBO Go then I would pay for it.
i didn't know that you get all the shows from hbo past? does that inlcude like...entourage and stuff? if so, im cancelling my netflix for a fwe months while i live off of HBO!!
It's not EVERYTHING. It's not like they have episodes of Fraggle Rock or Dream On, but most series from the past 10 years or so. You can go to the website and check out the catalog without being a subscriber.
I think this might have a lot to do with the fact that in the show you don't have to listen to her ridiculously childish, self-centered inner monologue.
Did not watch gay scene. Got that he an Sis are ready to three-way, did I miss anything else? And booksters? What's the back story on the Amazon?

Brienne was awesome. Not as ugly as I had pictured but I'll take it (the actress isnt ugly at all). Shae is fugly. Bleah. Yoren was a straight badass in his fight scene. Good episode.
Brienne looked like she was 6'-8" walking next to Catelyn. Was she that tall in the books? I remember her being big and strong, in general, but wasn't expecting her to basically be a female Mountain.
It looks like this season is beginning to rev up. Spoiler I wonder how close they are going to stay to the book and if Melisandre is going to birth the demon.
Why didn't you watch it? A lil' insecure you can't take a couple shirtless men making out? Honestly, Renly/Loras aren't openly gay in the books. It's not implied very harshly even, but you do know that Loras/Renly care for each other deeply and that Renly's marriage to Margerie (I think that's her name?) is merely political. It's important to note that Margarie (Renly's wife) and Loras are brother/sister from the Tyrell family. "Amazon"? You mean Brienne? They'll get more into detail about why she is how she is (manly) later, probably... you're not really supposed to know everything about her immediately. But if you insist: Spoiler The Tarth family is actually a Lord's family, if I recall correctly. Brienne is from that family. They've tried to marry her, but she resists it. In fact, she asked one suitor to duel her and won, embarrassing the guy and ruining her chances at marriage (which she was fine with, her father angry). Anyway, there's not much else to say. She's very devoted to Renly or whatever or future cause may be.
Why stream live? Just torrent a 720p copy in the morning. That said, if you do this, buy the DVD's or BluRay when it gets sold at the very least. I think a lot of people who watch Game of Thrones do torrent it, so it's important to show HBO support so the show doesn't get canned. Although they have been guaranteed as third season already.
Spoiler Margerie is more of an after thought in CoK. You know she is marrying Renly but other than that she only makes one apperance. There are several comments from various characters (most notably Stanis) that someone besides Renly would have to take her maidenhood (due to the fact that Renly is gay). Also, in the book Margery is maybe a little older than Sansa but not by much and you only see he once in CoK that I remember where she shows up much more in SoS and FoC.
