Linkin Park's new single Burn It Down

meh..LP lost what they had a long time ago.

Hybrid theory-Will go down in history
Meteora- Phenomenal.


I don't know what else, but there is probably a reason why.

 

This band is simple evolving, good for them.. Mike Shinoda alone is an instant buy for me...

 

I will admit, I am a total music snob, but Linkin Park is my total guilty pleasure. I seriously LOVED the last concept album although their "fans" didn't get it. Big, BIG fan.

Their last couple of singles have grown on me... this probably will do the same. I prefer their older stuff though.

 

They've gone from playing a brand of music I liked, to playing a brand of music i don't like.

There's a difference between not getting, and not liking, and I don't care much for electronic music, they've always incorporated it, but now it has completely overtaken everything they do.


They made New Divide and then decided to do a full stop, and change directions. I could tolerate some of it mixed in, its actually good for a change of pace in the album, but the whole album sounds like that. They say the new one isn't as electronic as ATS, but this first single sounds just like it.

First LP album, i'm gonna hold off on buying. There new music isn't bad, but it's not something I love either.

 

I think they evolved because Chester can't handle all of that screaming anymore.

 

You can play rock without screaming, is the rest of band arthritic and can't play instruments anymore.

 

Not bad. Not a huge Linkin Park fan. Liked their earlier stuff much more, but this song pretty decent.

 

I'm a huge fan of their rapping in their songs. Probably one of the greatest rappers of our time.

 

Meh ever since transformer single, they haven't been the same. I blame michael bay

I like this group.
I really got into them because of the Cartoon Video. [I think Todd MacFarlane animated it]
I started listening to more . . and liked it

Not bad though. It took a long time but they're last album has slowly grown on me.

 

The people that like LP began liking them when they were 15 (probably 30 now).

15 year olds don't even know who LP are. They probably think he's copying Skrillex :grin:

 

LOL. Probably true. I remember listening to them when i was 14 and being blown away from the sound. Hybrid theory had so many good songs on it then the album was followed up my Meteora, another great album.
