How do you like McHales substitution patterns?

  1. I think his sustitution patterns are fine, we just need to play better to win more games.

  3. I think McHales consistently gets out coached on substituion patterns and others things.

  4. I think McHales is usually the better coach of the teams playing, but of course he isn't perfect.

We are currently getting SMOKED in Denver right now, and this is one of those McHale is a moron moments...

Take your guys out, rest them for tomorrow, and get the young guy some burn and maybe they can make a mark on this game.

Instead he is going to wear out the guys he needs to compete with tomorrow....SMDH McFail !

I am incensed at his dumbass substitution patterns. Going small and leaving our 7 fters on the bench for some dumbass reason.

We have no size with any kind of brains. In case you haven't figured it out, Dally is playing like crap. Total garbage.

You guys complaining about Patterson....he's all we got!!!

McHale needs to activate Smith and this team needs Marcus Morris in the worst way right now.

Yeah, I know, knee jerk right??? We've lost Martin. Lee is playing on one leg. We have absolutely no post options when Scola is off the floor and when he is on the floor he is doubled. We need Morris' post game and his handle and shooting.

If we are going to run small ball, put Patterson at the 5, Morris at the 4, with Lowry, Dragic, and Bud on the perimeter.

I dont think these options are necessarily fair. The gameplay of the Rockets is not suitable for this team. His offensive system is build around having post up players you can dump the ball into on offense, and open up shots on the perimeter.

Right now they are just a contested jump shooting team. That type of team would be better suited for a full court Adelman, push the ball/ uptempo style of play. Remember the Rockets coaching staff went into the preseason thinking there was a good possiblity that Nene and possible Gasol would be Rockets this season.

There wasnt enough time to totally change everything they do offensively so they decided to put all their chips in on Scola & Patterson being affective enough to carry their offensive post play. Bad gamble on Patterson at least because he's just simply not good enough or ready to take that step.

So we are now stuck with a small/jump shooting team that play a Eastern Conference Big Man style of basketball.

Hmm, playing the team that scores the most in the paint that just totally dominated us for 37 points in the third quarter? Better put Scola at the 5 and a useless Patterson at the 4. That sounds like a great idea.

Same thing from McHale, different game = SAME RESULT!

Why doesn't he try to make the other team match up to us instead of him always matching up to the other team? Getting out coached as always.
