Is anyone else getting tired of the same teams over and over for the nationally televised games? I mean this is what the Knicks 4th game in 7 days on national TV? Seriously....
Also, JVG just mentioned how well Melo has been playing at the 4. I've said it a billion times that he'd be more productive there. It's better spacing and it puts more pressure on the opposing team to switch lineups/matchups or deal with a big guy defending against Melo's quickness.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I haven't been watching much of these games for that reason. This condensed season kind of wears you out as a viewer, too.
same here dude. I know they always show the most exciting teams and match ups, but as a viewer I lost interest. I don't even plan on watching even one of those games today. Im sick of the freakin knicks! I'd honestly rather watch memphis or indiana, then watch these same boring match ups.....
Lol, All of these Knicks fans were hyping up Shumpert's defense saying he belongs on the all-defensive teams. Nope. Sorry.
Ok we get it Melo defense has improved since Mike Woodson became coach. There is no need to continue telling us.
I'm tired of hearing it too. Also tired of the same teams on ABC Sundays and TNT Thursdays, especially since others games are either limited (TNT) or blacked out out (ABC).
I was just about to post this too. Isn't anybody tired of Miami-Chicago, Boston-NY, Lakers-Miami, repeat. Then in the playoffs it will be the same teams on ABC. It's nauseating.
Big market teams = more air time = more money to the NBA. Would you rather watching Carmelo Anthony 10 times, or Danny Granger 10 times? Would you rather watching LeBron James and Dwayne Wade 10 times, or OJ Mayo and Rudy Gay 10 times? More big market teams / superstar players on TV = more viewers. That's just how it is. San Antonio is the best team in the west as I'm typing (or at least, 2nd best), and they don't get nearly as much air time as the Knicks.
It doesn't bother me much since I ordered the league pass but for folks who can only watch National TV games they must be a little annoyed.
I would rather watch Carmelo 5 times and Granger 5 times or James & Wade 5 times, and Mayo & Gay 5 times. But then again I'm not sheep.
I'd rather it be split. As for Memphis they definitely deserve a lot more time on National TV. They are a fun team to watch.
