How Do You Think The Rockets Will Finish the Season?

    The Rockets and the Suns are tied 2-2, but the Suns pretty much have the tie breaker since all of their remaining games are against WC teams and they already have a 1 game advantage in that column.
    The Jazz have the tie breaker against the Rockets, 2-1.

    Jazz schedule:
    14 @ MEM
    16 vs DAL
    18 @ Portland
    21 vs Orlando
    24 vs Phoenix
    26 vs Portland

    Let's say the Jazz go 4-2, the Rockets would have to go 4-3 to make the playoffs. That loss against the Hornets hurt the Jazz a lot in this playoff race.

    Suns schedule:
    14 @ SA
    16 vs POR
    18 vs OKC
    19 vs LAC
    21 vs DEN
    24 @ Utah
    25     vs SA (sigh)

    Let's say the Suns go 4-3, the Rockets would have to go 4-3 to make the playoffs. If the Suns go 5-2, the Rockets would be in some trouble.

    i think we sneak in...I think denver and utah will be out..suns and rockets get in..phoenix playing great....as long as we beat NO and hopefully miami rests all their stars against us

    Backing in to the playoffs

    Only way the Rockets make the playoffs is if Phoenix and or Utah or Denver some how lose out. We are not going to beat Denver either. We are a jump shooting team with no athletic bigs to dump the ball in or play off of when jump shots are not falling.

    Depends, does SA rest their starters?

    Suns schedule:
    14 @ SA (possible freebie - "resting")
    16 vs POR (freebie - tanking)
    18 vs OKC
    19 vs LAC
    21 vs DEN
    24 @ Utah (possible freebie - tanking)
    25 vs SA (possible freebie - "resting")

    The Rockets pretty much have to win the same amount of games the Suns win in order to make the playoffs, and the Rockets can lose one more game than Utah and still make the playoffs.

    Scared of our 2 games against the Hornets. They've been playing good ball with Eric Gordon back, recent beating the Jazz and the Grizzlies.
