It seems that with all the talk about the roster small forward formally know as lebron james, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose being MVPs and possibly winning ring #1, I pose the question how likely is it that The Mighty Tim Duncan, the Great Kobe Bryant or even the great but overrated Kevin Garnett win another ring to add to there illustrious careers?

I thought the Garnett was overrated talk died down when he won a title and Defensive Player of the Year award the same year. I guess Dirk Nowitzki is overrated too.

Its quite possible one of those could win a title. Their teams are on the 2nd tier of favorites behind Bulls, Heat, Thunder. (I'm not counting San Antonio based off last year's surge and playoff exit)

Garnett had a better peak than Duncan, but Duncan has been more consistent. They're both future HoFers though, why argue about who was better?

I watch alot of Celtics basketball since I'm from Boston and still like to keep up with Massachusetts sports and if you say KG is overrated you do not watch ANY Celtics basketball.

    KG is a monster.
He can hit the outside jumper, grab rebounds, pass, and he ANCHORS THE INSIDE DEFENSE.

He is NOT overrated one bit, do you ever see his name come up in discussions about the great defenders in the league?
    Absolutely not.

Do some research before you post son.

Anyway the point remains do u think that these old guys will win a championship this year, i could care less about ur boston fandom.

KG has won an MVP, Olympic Gold, NBA Title, multiple All-Star, multiple All-Defensive selection and he is a future HOF'er. He isn't in anybodies "shadow".

    Kg is not overrated.
As far as this topic goes id like to see someone new whos maybe a 4 and lower seed wining.
Maybe griz, a team who has an amazing formula with great pieces.
    Tired of la and sa.

    4 x champ vs 1 x champ
9 All NBA 1st team selections vs 4 All NBA 1st team selections
2 time MVP vs 1 time MVP
3 time Finals MVP vs 0 time Finals MVP

And considering there careers took place at almost exactly the same time I would definitely say KG is in Tim Duncan's shadow. Anyway im not saying KG sucks or anything like that.

Yeah Id like to see the griz steal one, but I would honestly like to see either kobe get 6, duncan get 5, or even kg, pp and ray allen get the 2nd ring
