It's not so much his falling as it is his inability to position his self to take the charge...So why bother? Scola should never play center for any team in the NBA no matter how much you need offense...two games in a row Camby started off with decent games ony mot to see the floor much the second half, defense wins games and we didn't have none, we can't play the suns game and expect to win...
Some of you just move on to new scapegoats. Scola is who he was since he has been here. Yes I still have a problem with other teams floppers and not Scola because they actually get the Flop calls way more often than Scola does. He just falls down and does not get the call very often. Other guys you barely touch them and they flop and get the call.
I must spread some rep around. =( I can't tell if he's young or old. His cryptic references all go over my head because I'm in the middle. Does he need juice box or ensure? Hug from Mommy or hug from grandkids. Cats in the cradle and the silver spoon? Oh well. Zgirl sums it up better and more concisely than all my difficult questions.
We are clearly not talking about the same kind of flopping. I am talking about the kind that actually works and effects the game. The Rockets never have that type of flop go for them. At times teams can flop with absolutely no contact from a Rockets player and still get the call. I have seen the phantom flops against Houston over and over and none of them involve Luis doing it to another team. You always have to hit Luis to knock him down unlike these other guys on other teams.
I think it was mainly after some ******** calls by Joey Crawford. I can see why he would start playing hollywood, if reality doesn't matter in the Joey Crawfard Basketball Association.
Im frankly offended that any fan of the Rockets would actually bring up flopping and officiating after the league changed the rules that effected Kevin Martin our top scorer for an entire year. After it artificially brought down our freethrows to one of the lowest in the league after that rule change. After last year having freethrows under different rules. Even now the Rockets get screwed on calls. After the free throw change and league rule that seemed to only effect Kevin Martin in the ENTIRE NBA!
Its not creative you twit. Its reality. Kevin Martin was effected directly by a league rule change. In every game this year the other team went in with a built in league enforced mandate for the refs to stop Kevin Martins signature moves. For EVERY game this year. Then on top of that every game the opponent has one or two calls where a guy does not even get touched by a Rocket and gets foul called for them in trash refereeing. Despite the 40 to 15 free throw advantage nearly nightly for the opposing team? The Rockets still win. So how could Luis minor flopping be a negative? Possibly. How could it possibly be a negative to balance things out?
Martin's Signature moves = Flopping. The irony in your fantasy-filled post is just mind-boggling. PS. Even if it were true, I would support the league for curtailing Martin's excessive flops.
this is very true. If the nba can neuter kmart like that, it could do it to other players and all through out the league if they wanted. But the divas would have a point drop of around 5 points a game. Who wants defense? and closer games due to fair play? it's bad business. Basketball reasons of course.
Signature move was swim move with the arms. A guy jumps into it or hits your arms while shooting or faking was a legal shot since before Jordan was scoring king.
You clearly have a bad grasp of scoring moves and flops. If a guy jumps into you while shooting or swim moves? That was a foul by league rules and not a flop.
Thats okay. When Scola does it in the playoffs and gets a steal that gets us the winning bucket, Zboy will transform into ZFAN1!!!!
