    Seems like Demps is a GM that Morey is on good terms with, given the near Gasol trade and all the Kaman talks. Now that Stern's idiocy is out of the picture, maybe something can get done this summer.

    as a native of Louisiana... I'll still hate the Hornets. Sucks my favorite team owner bought them. Was hoping they would of been gone by the summer :mad:

    If you can buy any basketball team for that cheap and get a decent pick and turn it into a winning (consistently) franchise I don't doubt you can make money even in NO.

    Basketball is a worldwide sport and a star player in merchandising alone can net you $$$. At least I would imagine.

    hmm... interesting price. I wonder if that is with a guaranteed #1 pick or not. We all know that the timing of the sale would come a couple of weeks before the draft lottery. We cant afford to be that nieve. The timing of the sale is completely obvious, and well predicted.
