Yes it's crazy that anyone would believe they have enough information at that stage to make that judgement.

I think a better question would be is it just that Zimmerman will have to undergo due process and appear in a trial for the killing of Martin.

 

But Hispanics think the killing is unjust (59%), since Zimmerman claim he is Hispanic, that says something doesn't it. Too bad there is no Asian percentage breakdown.

 

This is why he cannot get a fair trial.

 

The headline they use is really misleading if we look at the actual data. Yes, 35% of white people though he was unjustly killed - but the other 65% didn't necessarily think he wasn't. 48% didn't know, and only 16% think he wasn't. So really, it's just that white people are mostly far more undecided. For comparison, here is the data:

So a trial sounds reasonable to me with these numbers.

How do you know Jackson isn't concerned with these killings? Do you have any proof that he has ignored them completely?

I almost agreed with you until you went attacking the majority of blacks. It's true that black communities face a lot of problems and I wish there was a greater focus on getting something done about those problems especially by us, the people who face them.

I'm almost positive you don't know the majority of black people in America so you cannot make such an ignorant, blanket statement on how the majority of us dress, act or speak. The funny thing is the ASSumptions you and others have made about blacks, like those above, you have probably gathered a lot from the news, movies, TV shows, music and other sources. The funny thing is these are the same media sources that are being complained about in this very thread as being biased, one-sided, etc. Just because that is all you see does not mean it is right to profile. Most of the things I see on sexual predators shows old, white men. Should I assume that all old white men are such or should I reserve judgement until I get to know somebody if given the chance? I like to wear baggy jeans, not sagging but baggy. I like my shirts a size too large. To me, that is more comfortable and that is how I choose to dress. Why should I be profiled? Should I assume that any white guys with tattoos covering their arms are in biker gangs? No, it's idiotic. I realize it (profiling) happens but that does not make it any less idiotic or acceptable.

Then you go off on an even more idiotic tirade about our president. Guess what, my mother is white and my father is black. They divorced when I was 12. My mother raised me for the most part after that and although my father was not out of my life completely, he wasn't there the way I feel a father should be for his children. I was able to attend college, get a degree and have a pretty nice job as well. You know what I was not allowed to do? Enter my white grandparents house......guess why? I have a friend who is biracial but led a completely opposite life. I guess you would accept me and not him, right? I'm not going to get on the education thing I'll just say very few people who live in poverty actually make it out of poverty, again there are more factors there than just race. Not sure why you brought that up that whole thing about the president, seems like it was to make black people look worse but it just made you look more ignorant.

 

It's going to get uglier and uglier, but when it finally comes down to the truth, I believe that Zimmerman will get exactly what he deserves.

The exact opposite. It means the outcome of a trial is very dependent on the racial make up of the jury for this case. If you were Zimmerman, would you prefer a black jury (91% believe the killing unjust) or a white jury (35% believe the killing unjust) ?

 

If the head is split, they must acquit.

that's not what liltexxx believes, and it's not what he was ever saying. He was claiming that more was needed before he thought Zimmerman should even have to face a trial.

I disagree with that. But liltexxx was only playing a game, so it really doesn't matter about agreeing or disagreeing with anything he was saying.

 

Absolutely why there won't be a fair trial. Some white guy out of the 9-10 white people probably ending up on the jury is going to pick and choose which "facts" they care about, and they will prevent the 11 jurors with a brain from convicting him.

 

This is a very possible outcome, hung jury. But you never know what is going to happen in a jury trial.

 

Sounds like OJ, and every other case.

 

I hope you just pulled those numbers out of nowhere because if it's true we truly haven't gotten any better in terms of racism.
