    Has anyone ever beat xmen,simpsons, or ninja turtles at the arcade back in the day?? i never had enough quarters it seems :/

    friday the 13th was tough.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. One of the few games I never beat.

    One of the games I beat everyone thinks is hard is Contra. I really don't know why people think this game is so hard. Maybe its because i played it hundreds of times.

    If you want a hard game play mario bros 2: the lost levels not the crappy US mario bros 2 the Japanese version is so freaking frustrating.

    ya contra was pretty easy... if you beat it on hard u get the secert boss after you beat the brain that comes up at you when your on the helicopter.

    Don't think I ever beat any of the battletoad games (i.e. battletoads vs double dragons)...they give you just enough lives to get to the final stage then BAM no continues

    I beat X-Men and Ninja Turtles arcade... never the Simpsons one. The Simpsons arcade was probably one of the hardest arcade games I've ever played.

    The original teenage mutant ninja turtles on NES. If anyone here has actually beaten that game, I'd like to shake their hand. (If you went back and played it recently, that doesn't count by the way. :) )

    Rented it for the SNES and beat it with a friend or two. Couldn't imagine spending the money to beat it on arcade though lol.

    Streets of Rage was pretty tough...

    I also remember having to use a cheat on Lion King to skip a certain level :eek::eek:

    Anyone remember this game... :mad:

    Ooo... I remember playing the prequel. DMC 4?

    It was the first DMC with an 'easier-than-easy' option. Even with that on I couldn't get very far.

    The nostalgia within this thread is insane.

    i remember when the first silent hill game came out it took me over a year to beat it becuase i was so scared to play it. I had beaten resident evil already so i was shocked how scary it was.
