You spelled Muslim wrong. Allen West has no credibility when it comes to extremist Muslims. West is a OIF vet. Iraq wasn't a hot bed for radical Islam. As an arty officer West probably never shot his rifle at an enemy. His bronze star is not combat related since there is no valor device on the ribbon, plus he has no combat related ribbons or badges. So no he did not fight for his country on the literal sense.
