One thing I like about Morey is we never seem to have any albatross contracts (or he finds a way to get rid of them like Ariza).

Based upon no real effort this season, Kevin Martin.

I voted Morris - but I honestly feel there are no overpaid Rockets, there are some right paid ones...KMart and Scola, some underpaid ones, Budinger, Lowry, CLee....

Just to get it out there.

Morris has not worked out yet.... but it's not his fault..... Standard late lottery pick money IMO.
    Sacramento gave Martin his dough.

Considering the entire length of their contracts, I'd say Scola.

A testament to Morey. Martin, our most overpaid player is making a reasonable deal by most accounts. You cannot look at one shortened/coaching change/injury riddled season as a proper gauge to measure Martin's value.

    Look at Martin's contract. 5yrs $55million.
avg stats during that time = 21ppg, 3.5rbs, 2.5ast ~70% games played and generally one of the leaders in eFG%, FT% and total 3pointers.

Those are prime Eric Gordon type numbers in a different package.

Try to look at the big picture and not each game/game, minute/minute.
Case and point Lowry vs Dragic.

This thread is so biased, as of this moment in time.

First of all, it would seem like the only logical answer is Kevin Martin.

And paying him $11.5 actually isn't ridiculous, considering the offense he can produce.

Sure, he's been injured, but that's life.

Indeed. He's looking antique, now, and we still have him on contract til 14.

    use whatever criteria you wish

if it's "if I had to get rid of one contract", probably Scola, and even then not really considering his play of late

The Kings bargained for a reasonable deal with Martin, a 23 ppg scorer back then.
Morey did right with the deal, but overall he didn't do right gambling on Yao's health, ultimately lost.... and Martin isn't the worst fit now, but isn't the best fit either.

Right at the beginning of the season I would say get rid of Scola...
But I guess this guy is special ... he can play 3 more years of good basketball
3-4 more years to go... or trade him for a good player, high pick....

His last year is not guaranteed, or has a very small guarantee, he is not overpaid, IMO.
