There's a reason Jeremiah Wright's antics got so much press 4 years ago. It truly shows what a poor decision maker Obama is - he chose to worship with this man for years. It also shows what a political manipulator Obama is. He used Wright to gain credibility with the black community (remember, Obama lived a privileged upbringing and was raised by whites) and then kicked Wright to the curb when it was no longer politically expedient (ie when the truth of what Wright preached came out).

 

What this shows you is how desperate some Republicans are. Obama hasn't worshiped with Wright for years, and we have 4 years of his presidency to see how he'll govern.

Yet some people are still trying to use past connections to somehow cast doubt on Obama.

Sorry won't work, we can use Obama's record to judge him.

Thread title is inaccurate since it isn't Obama's preacher.

 

This is excellent news for McCain....er....Romney!

 

His 4 years have been confirmatory of his lack of judgment and decision making.

 

Then talk about that, instead of this stupid nonsense.

But one doesn't matter when you have the other which does matter to discuss. Yet you are choosing to focus on the part that doesn't matter at all. Perhaps it's because when you talk about the part that does matter, you end up looking silly.

 

Yes it does matter, because Obama's terrible decision making was already evident even before he was president.

And then you've started with the insults. I'll be the bigger man and not respond in kind.

You have a strange definition of insult. I didn't really give any insults.

 

In post #11 you called his contributions "stupid" and in post #13 you said he looked "silly."

You guys on the left feel like you have so much license that you don't even...

If looking silly is an insult then someone needs to turn their sensitivity meter down a few notches.

Please don't think anything I post is representative of a group larger than just myself.

While I do feel like I have the license to call stupid stuff stupid, and silly stuff silly, it doesn't mean everyone on the left does.
