Somehow i know this guy is sincere through his email. Sure he's a poser in public but in actuality he's probably a bum trying to get back on his feet for being a poser. You know summer is here when Epic threads appear in the hangout I really don't know what to think, but BMW met up with the guy, and if I were just trollinng, I wouldn't be on CF begging for money, I say he's legit, it's not like his lifestyle won't get him broke.
yeah this turned out to be the thread of the day. funny thing is we get a good story rising action and resolution all in one day. sorta reminds me of threes company or a good re run of facts of life. STEP 1 Create account called BMW3 STEP 2 post normally at BMW3 STEP 3 make another ID and ask for money STEP 4 begin to profit without verification STEP 5 Pretend like BMW3 went and 'verified' heck the guy could even take a photo of himself and his friend. Like we know what BMW3 looks like. STEP 6 PROFIT If you think about it the guy put in a good 4 hours of work running the emails and posting it wasn't like he didn't have to 'work' for it. It's not a scam since he asked for money and people chose to give it to him. Good for him. He could be like joel osteen and use the blood of jesus to make cash so in that respect I place this guy on a higher rung than trash like osteen. I am dealing with an insurance claim on my car that got hit and I can tell you this guy is more straight up than allstate. Good hands with allstate my ass ! This guy said he needed money and whether its true or not, he put it out there, and had the balls and initiative to ask. He didnt ask you to buy his book, or try and screw you over with unfair interest, hidden fees, he just asked. My question continues to be approx how much did he really make? If everyone can chime in that contributed we can get a ballpark of total take. I would like to see how lucrative a deal this was. I want to know what it pays to post a sob like this and spend a whole day working the lines. I would say the haul is well over $100 but is it worth it? Maybe and if so I hope he can have a drink and cheers from me for being as real as anyone else on this website. just because he made a bunch of fake accounts doesnt mean that he can't run out of money.. WOW!! Yeah I posted a little early, after reading the first 2 pages. First let me say, much credit for all that helped, big reason why I love this site. I literally read every post and I believe he's a fraud but has genuine issues, or he's freaking brilliant, which all of the sudden I'm leaning toward. May just be a damn good criminal. clutch was absolutely right banning him given his history with the site. Not sure there is much more to say, other than he probably got over. Man this was one crazy ride. Disappointing if he is not legit, but what can you do.
Gotta get in a comment whenever the epic threads come around. 1) Clutchfans team of private eye investigators always blows my mind. Amazing work once again gentlemen. 2) I think this guy might be legit based on bmw's meeting him up. I can envision a scenario where a young Houston hard hitter all about the scrilla rappin about stackin back in 04 could be broke and out of a job in 12. (See every Houston rapper who was rappin in 04 and is now broke) Secondly the internet is a cruel place...like they say, the internets never forget. We've all gone through life changes, grown, matured and changed (some more then others) over the past 15-20 years the nets have been around. Maybe cut the guy a little slack for his past errors. I believe in hard work and earning your dollar but you gotta start somewhere. I believe he offered to work errands in exchange for money earlier, and people instead asked him for a paypal and shot him over money. Not entirely his fault.
He said he was laid off 2 months ago and has no unemployment. Wrong. Unemployment used to last 6 months. Under the federal extensions, Unemployment will last 99 weeks. That's almost 2 years of unemployment. Even if he was laid last year, he would still be getting checks. You will be rejected, if you are applying for jobs a few times a week or you already have a job. He working as an actor/rapper right now, so we aren't talking about 10 years ago. You can DM for a copy of his first movie. He is working on his 2nd movie. He is buying sports jerseys, while he is "unemployed" for the last 2 months. That's the last thing a guy buys, if he is broke for the last 2 months. Besides jerseys, he is posting pictures of new Louis Vuitton shoes, complete with tissue paper. Even if he got last years shoes on sale, they are at least $400-500 a pair. He is dropping half a grand bucks on jerseys and shoes, but he has no money to eat?
