Is it possible to stream the signal from a laptop ( Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 7223 DBR) To a modern Samsung TV. the laptop has HDMI ports and usb 3. The TV has HDMI and one usb port . The Dell has Bluetooth and Intel My Wifi Technology which shows to be currently disabled. My computer is very limited, So I need it in simple terms. If there is something reasonable to buy to help I will get it. I would like to be able to use this on other similar equipped TVs in the house.

At this time I do hook it to one of my TVs with HDMI cable but that is not always practical.

I have installed an outside antenna but it doesn't get a lot of sports just the local Houston channels. I am going to try to turn cable loose but there is a lot of channels like USA, TNT, ESPN and such that you can get on computer that I would like to keep watching.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Google wireless hdmi. I don't have any feedback on usage but that's probably your best (wireless) bet. Make sure to look at just the hdmi extenders...USB video sucks.

Do you have an XBOX or PS3? That would be the easiest route to watch videos that are stored on your PC. Now if you're talking about streaming live broadcasts, then just hooking up your hdmi cable is going to be your best bet.
