Hey Guys, I need some help please... I'm trying to plan a trip to Niagra Falls in July and i'm looking for some info on hotels, things to do etc... I'm looking at airline tickets to fly into Buffalo, NY.. If someone has a better suggestion please let me know.. Thanks, T_Man
Fly to Buffalo or Toronto, whichever is cheaper. Do a daytrip at the Falls and stay in Toronto for the evening (more things to do, better restaurants, etc).
Buffalo is usually pretty cheap. I fly out of there for everything, and I live pretty much smack dab in between Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.
once portland waives me, i plan on visiting the falls as well. is it true that the canadian side is much better than the american side? as far as hotels, are there any there that offer a direct view of the falls?
Yes, but that means you obviously get a better view of the Canadian side from the American side. Whatever Canada does, we still win. America, ***** yeah.
Yeah there are some hotels where you can see the falls... Balla, thanks again for all the help.. T_Man
The American side is like Jerry Springer and the Canadian side is Oprah. If I ever go back to Niagara Falls, I'm just flying straight to Canada. The American side is a craphole that for some odd reason has a LOT of Indians or Pakistanis.
fallsview Casino, that's where the locals go to gamble and shet I think I can't believe I've never been there and I live an hour and half away
Havent been to Toronto since I was 9 years old. If they're from Toronto, why the hell are they on the American side? It's so much easier to get robbed
Be sure and see this flick before you go! Niagra, 1953. Truly "a raging torrent of emotion" and Marilyn is sexy as hell. This is the film that made Marilyn Monroe a huge star. It takes place on the Canadian side of the Falls.
It's just an hour driving distance from Toronto to the Falls. If you haven't visited the city of Toronto before it's a great city and well worth visiting. There are a bunch of casinos/rides on the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls -- plenty of things to do there. And the Falls do look better from the Canadian side.
Fallsview Casino Maid of the Mist (ferry under the falls) Helicopter ride Jetboat ride And... ummm... then back to Fallsview Casino?
Went there last in October 2010. Toronto may have more flight options for the Niagara Falls area. The Embassy Suites hotel is pretty nice and has a good view of the falls from the hotel room. The Adventure Pass is a good option to view multiple popular attractions at a discount. http://www.niagaraparks.com/packages/ Clifton Hill is a fun, touristy area that also has their own Fun Pass. http://www.cliftonhill.com/tickets There are also historical sites not too far from Niagara Falls
Wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the help and information.... I'm looking at staying at the Hilton Fallsview or Doubletree... I'm also looking at the different vacation packages from the Hotels and Airlines... The last piece of the puzzle is to get info on the Golf Course.. Thanks Again for all the help. T_Man
since i didnt make the playoffs, ive decided to take mrs. thabeet to view niagara falls. im a little confused though, but not as much as when im on the court. is it better to drive over to the canadian side and take a look at the falls or would it be just as beautiful from the american side?
Don't do it man. My friend ended up with three broken ribs and a night's stay in jail. No matter how cool you think it will be, it's not worth it. EDIT: I misread the original post and thought the OP wanted to go over the Niagara Falls in a barrel for jollies. Disregard my post.
